Here’s the🫖
Life has a way of changing your plans in a matter of moments.
Recently, I received some unexpected medical news that has left me processing a lot of emotions.
There are still conversations to be had, decisions to make, and details to learn, but it appears that a major heart 💔 surgery is in my near future.
As a nurse, I understand enough to know the seriousness of it. As a person, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. As a widow that's lost her husband to heart issues, I'm triggered.
I'm scared. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't.
But I'm also hopeful.
I've faced difficult seasons before, and I've learned that strength isn't about never being afraid, it's about continuing forward even when you are.
For now, I'm taking things one appointment, one conversation, one day and honesty one breath at a time. I'm leaning on my faith, my family, my friends, and the people who continue to show up with love and encouragement.
If you pray, I'd appreciate your prayers. If you don't, positive thoughts are welcome too.
I'll share more when I'm ready. Until then, thank you for understanding if I'm a little quieter than usual.❤️Sharon
