Jori Jordon began her career as an actress, dancer, hostess, and Producer. Whether performing as Josephine Baker, dancing her original works in various venues throughout NYC and now Hollywood, or starring in independent films and being featured in major motion pictures, even going so far as to creating and producing her own hit show for NYC public access TV, Jori has always blazed her own successful path. Now as CEO of JordonJordonTV Inc. a California Corporation, Jori is embarking on a new venture in the exciting growth market of multi media, live-for-broadcast entertainment. Jori was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Growing up, she attended The Ben Vereen Dance Center (under the tutelage of Mr. Vereen), Boitsov Ballet Co, Eva Lorraine School of Ballet and the Joel Hall Dance Center of Chicago. In 2004 she moved to New York City on a scholarship from Alvin Ailey and started working part-time as a dancer and actress in Television, Film and Music Videos. She also hosted "APE Presents", a half hour reality TV show highlighting the best of the N.Y.C. entertainment scene. Jori Jordon joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2008. She has worked on such Television shows as Law & Order SVU, Law & Order CI, Life on Mars, Lipstick Jungle, Gossip Girls and more recently Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush. She has also performed as Josephine Baker in a piece originally choreographed by Jori and blessed by Josephine Baker’s adopted son Jean Claude Baker at his Theater Row NYC Restaurant Chez Josephine. This derivative of his Mothers “Banana Dance “ also became a Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week must see, while becoming Famed Designer Richie Rich’s Muse in the 2010 NYC Fashion Week Show. She has also performed in numerous Music Videos with such artists as Pharrell Williams/Kanye West and in 50 Cent's July 2009 release "OK, You're Right". She attended the Stella Adler Acting Studio of New York studying film and television. is currently partnered with Malik Yusef, of G.O.O.D Music, developing a multimedia pop-up extravaganza involving Kanye West and other A-List stars. This sponsor based venture will take full advantage of all the cache’ and extra notoriety brought by associating with top level movers and shakers in media, music, arts, fashion, dance, and all things involving pop culture. This and other projects such as The Spin Cycle, a pop-culture, video news webzine in development with SPIN-Multimedia, commercials, music videos with fast emerging artists and the production of live arts events in the Los Angeles area all promise great growth in the emerging commercial market of multi media, live-for-broadcast, pop-culture production.
