There comes a moment in the journey when your effort alone can’t explain what’s happening. Doors open that you never knocked on. Opportunities find you while you’re simply doing what you’re called to do.

Provision shows up in ways that don’t make sense. Peace settles in your spirit even when nothing around you has changed. That’s when you know it’s God.

Not strategy.
Not timing.
Not connections.
Just grace.

If you’re in a season of waiting, wondering, or walking by faith, take heart. You’re not behind. You’re not forgotten. You’re being positioned for a season that only God can take credit for.

Let Him write the story. His version is always better.

I spent 16 years being "the strong one" while my own life waited.

Yesterday, I asked a simple question: "At 57, who do I become when I'm completely healed, fully embodied, and living from rest instead of survival?"

The response was overwhelming. Hundreds of women—in their 50s, 60s, and 70s—shared their stories of discovering themselves for the first time at midlife.

Women transitioning from survival mode to sovereign living.

Women letting the warrior finally rest.

Women realizing they're capable of so much more than they believed.

Women asking: "Who am I when I'm not performing for everyone else?"

If you're in your second act and discovering yourself for the first time, you're not behind. You're not broken. You're exactly where you need to be.

What happened in the past does not define you.

What defines you is who you are becoming as you move forward.

You are not bound by what you survived. You are not limited by what you carried. You are not defined by the weight you once held or the roles you had to play.

You are defined by your choice to inhabit your healing. To embody your sovereignty. To step into the fullness of who God created you to be.

This is not about leaving the past behind as if it never mattered. Your past shaped you. It refined you. It taught you endurance, discernment, and strength.
But it does not get to script your future.

The sovereign soft life is not built by erasing your story. It’s built by choosing yourself because of your story—and deciding that what comes next will be lived from rest, not survival.

You are becoming her. Not a better version of yourself. Not a fixed version of yourself.

The most embodied, most whole, most present version of yourself.

And that woman? She’s been waiting for you to choose her.
