Which style is your favorite?!

Eros Studios • Wedding Stationery designs stationery that is modern but timeless, and never locked into one aesthetic. Typography mixed with color, texture, curated artwork and elevated printing.

What we love most is how they work. They design with a couple rather than for them, starting from what someone is actually drawn to and then walking them through the possibilities one step at a time so it never gets overwhelming. That approach shows up in the work, because none of it looks like a template.

Invitations are one of the first things a guest ever touches and one of the last things you keep. They are also a cost most couples never see a real number for until they are already deep in it.

A flower tucked behind an ear. A borrowed bike, a basket of mums, a book they will never read on a bench by the water. This is what an engagement session looks like when the photographer cares more about how it feels than how it poses.

Caitlan Broadwell photographs the in-between moments. It was the same day the bride’s grandparents were married, which turned the whole night into the opening of the holiday season for everyone they loved.

Here’s where it went.

$50,000. 145 guests. Canton, Ohio.

Venue, catering and bar $22,000

The brief to their planner was warm, local, and Christmas but not too Christmas. So candlelight and greenery rather than anything themed, with a restrained palette that read festive without tipping into kitsch.
But the part we keep thinking about isn’t in the budget at all.

Friends and family baked hundreds of Christmas cookies for the guests, a group of family musicians played carols on brass instruments as the ceremony prelude and the couple set themselves a rule, that not a single thing would come from a big box site, and they hit it. Every item sourced from a local business.

That’s the kind of personal you can’t buy, and it’s the reason a $50,000 wedding can feel like so much more than the number.

$10,178. Ten days. Four cities.

Nobody tells you what a honeymoon actually costs. You get told to budget “about ten percent” and then you’re on your own, guessing, while every photo you’ve ever seen of the Amalfi Coast quietly suggests it costs more than the wedding.

So here is an example you can start from!

Accommodations across five stays, $6,650
Trains and transfers, $1,590
Experiences, the Vatican tour, the Amalfi boat day, the cooking class, $1,030
Travel insurance, $408
Planning fee, $500

One night in Rome to land and eat well before anything else, on purpose. Then Positano, which was the heart of it, a boat day and a cooking class and dinners that went long. Two still nights in Tuscany at Borgo San Felice with no agenda at all. Then Florence to finish, art and long walks and one more good dinner.

The thing that made it work wasn’t any single hotel. It was the pacing. Getting the transitions right mattered as much as where they stayed, which is exactly the part you can’t Google.

We love seeing weddings where none of it felt like the couple was trying to fit into what a wedding “SHOULD” look like. 

And for Derek & Lindy, every part of their day felt unmistakably them. The people they surrounded themselves with, their PEMDAS vows, the games, and that Bay Area vibe. It all reflected who they are.
