VERY long day.

Spent two hours on the phone with sources, wrote a video script, hopped on another hour long call, recorded the video, and am now editing everything into a tight 15 minute episode of the podcast.

Dropping this Sunday.

Of all the cigar lounges in Las Vegas, I've been to Helios the most.

Granted, it's the closest to my house — but that's not the only reason.

They have a great humidor and give extremely good recommendations.

And there is plenty of space to kick back and get some work done.

Highly recommend it!

Joseph Duggar appeared virtually at the Bay County Courthouse on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, for a motion hearing as he awaits trial for sexual assault of a minor.

As I previously reported in May, Duggar had requested unsupervised visitation with his children. Footage of Duggar’s June 16 court appearance obtained by TMZ shows Judge Brantley Clark denying that request.

According to KNWA, Duggar’s attorney, Albert Sauline, had also filed a second motion to amend the order barring Duggar from being within 500 feet of the alleged victim’s home. Sauline told the judge that the alleged victim moved out of the house and that Duggar owns the property and needs to be able to work on it. Judge Clark denied that motion as well, stating that if any work needed to be done on the property, Duggar could send employees to complete it.

Duggar’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 14 for a pretrial hearing.

Honestly, of all the weird beefs Christians have that I don’t understand, the dislike of horror movies is way up there. Even when I was going to church every week and loved horror, I never got why it was seen as something dangerous to avoid.

A lot of horror movies are basically low-key Christian stories—good vs. evil, people wrestling with faith, and ultimately overcoming darkness. Look at The Conjuring: a Christian couple fighting demonic forces.

It feels like a bigger issue of media literacy. If a movie has a demon in it, that doesn’t make it “demonic”—just like the Bible isn’t demonic for talking about demons.

At the end of the day… it’s just a scary movie.

According to : "Trust in pastors has collapsed more than any other profession in America. The data comes from Gallup. Even worse? Among Americans under 35, only 17% rate pastors as honest and ethical."

Has your own trust in pastors overall diminished? What could pastors do to earn your trust in that profession again?

Years ago, Dr. Matthew Boedy was put on a "professor watchlist" by Turning Point USA for his public opposition against allowing concealed guns on college campuses.

On September 10, 2025, it's founder, Charlie Kirk, was killed by a gun on a college campus.

When I interviewed Dr. Boedy about his book, The Seven Mountains Mandate, in October of last year, I asked him what it was like seeing this series of events unfold, his years of research into Turning Point, and more.

Here's a small snippet of the discussion.
