Two years ago we were running around the beach without a care in the world ❤️

I really miss playing with Mamba like this and taking him everywhere with us

Right now all I want is for his ACL to heal strong enough so he can enjoy these moments again 🥹

I can’t wait to see him run like this again ❤️

Mamba has a CCL injury and needs to rest—but try explaining that when he sees his favorite toy 😂 First he tried making me look away, then he winked at me. Who else has a dog that never wants to stop playing?

Mamba finally got his knee brace ❤️

This whole injury has taught me how difficult it can be to find a vet you truly trust. I’ve tried several vets in Las Vegas, and when something doesn’t feel right, I end up trying somewhere new hoping I’ll finally find someone who treats Mamba like more than just another appointment.

After being told he needs surgery and realizing MRI + surgery could cost over $12,000 before even adding rehab and therapy, I started researching every option I could.

For now, I’ve decided to give Mamba a serious conservative recovery attempt with his brace, controlled rehab and red light therapy while watching his progress closely.

If you’re in LAS VEGAS and know a vet you would trust with your own dog — especially for a CCL injury — please leave their name below 🙏

Mamba has gotten injured playing fetch before, so I switched to a green laser thinking it would be safer. He became so focused on the dot that he didn’t see a small ditch and hurt his leg 💔 I watched him closely for three days, hoping he would improve, but he didn’t. So we got him cleaned up and ready for his vet appointment. Please wish Mamba good luck ❤️

Every time I harvest something from the garden, Mamba has to inspect it 😂🍈

This time it was our homegrown organic sugar melon… and apparently “Mamba, let’s eat!” was all he needed to hear ⚡

Safe to say, the harvest passed inspection 😂

Mamba may be 7, but in his head he’s still 2 😂❤️

I’ve been changing the way we play because he still wants to go 100% like he always has. The green laser is definitely one of his favorites 🟢

And apparently we don’t stop until the Mamba battery is completely dead 😂

I always try to give Mamba the best meals I can. His usual whole chicken was sold out, so this week he’s enjoying roasted pork loin with his veggies ❤️ Judging by how impatient he was, I think the substitute passed the test 😂

We took Mamba to our usual park to watch the Las Vegas Strip fireworks for America’s 250th Independence Day 🇺🇸

Then everyone around us started setting off their own fireworks, and suddenly the park had a whole show of its own 😂🎆

Honestly, I think we enjoyed the park fireworks even more—and Mamba had the best seat
