In the 2025 MHSAA Division 1 State Finals: (13-1) Detroit Cass Tech Technicians vs. (14-0) Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks at Ford Field. Detroit Catholic Central defeated Detroit Cass Tech 42-19 Final.

For the Shamrocks, this is the first time they defeated Detroit Cass Tech in the State Finals. DCC Shamrocks QB Duke Banta had three passing touchdowns & 156 passing yards, WR Gideon Gash had three receiving touchdowns, three receptions, & 126 receiving yards, RBs Joshua Peters & Cedric Williams each had a rushing touchdown, and K Ty Goddard had a three point field-goal made against the Technicians. The Shamrocks defense had three takeaways and sacks including interception return touchdown from DT Benjamin Eziuka.

For the Technicians, this is their first loss since Week 4 of the 2024 MHSAA Football season. Detroit Cass Tech QB Donald Tabron ll had two passing touchdowns & 285 passing yards, ATH Corey Sadler Jr. had a receiving touchdown, 11 receptions, & 130 receiving yards, and RB Julian Taylor & WR Will Sykes Jr. each had a touchdown against the Shamrocks.

Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks won their first MHSAA Football State Title for the first time 2009 in school history.

In the 2025 MHSAA Division 5 State Finals: (13-1) Grand Rapids West Catholic Falcons vs. (11-3) Pontiac Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish at Ford Field. Grand Rapids West Catholic defeated Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 42-14 Final.

For the Falcons, it was dominating performance against the reigning champions. West Catholic QB Grady Augustyn had three touchdowns & 199 passing yards, WR Thomas Puksta had two receiving touchdowns, 6 receptions, & 161 receiving yards, and RB/S Connor Olszewski had a rushing touchdown, 45 rushing yard, & fumble-recovery against the Fighting Irish. The Falcons defense had a sack and 3 takeaways including two interception return touchdowns.

For the Fighting Irish, they didn't score until the end of the second quarter. Notre Dame Prep QB/CB Drake Roa had a passing touchdown & 123 passing yards, WR Brody Sink had a receiving touchdown, 5 receptions, & 110 receiving yards, and RB Anthony Tartaglia had a rushing touchdown & 37 rushing yards against the Falcons. The Fighting Irish defense had two takeaways and a sack.

Grand Rapids West Catholic Falcons won their first MHSAA Football State Title for the first time 2022 in school history. They have 8 MHSAA Football State Titles.

In the 2025 MHSAA Division 3 State Finals: (13-1) Mount Pleasant Oilers vs. (14-0) Dewitt Panthers at Ford Field. Dewitt defeated Mount Pleasant 54-20 Final.

For the Panthers, they made history to be 1st all time in team rushing touchdowns, rushing yards, and total yards in a State Finals game. QB/RB Traverse Moore had five touchdowns & 461 total yards including MHSAA record 397 rushing yards, RB Channing Ridley had two rushing touchdowns & 101 rushing yards, WR Jadon Bender & Tyler Bashore each had a touchdown, & DE Everett Cooper had a sack against the Oilers.

For the Oilers, Mount Pleasant Oilers QB Xavier Creguer had three touchdowns & 228 total yards including MHSAA record 91 rushing yard play and WR Riley Olson had a receiving touchdown, 3 receptions, & 41 receiving yards against the Panthers.

Dewitt Panthers won their first MHSAA Football State Title for the first time 2020 in school history.

In the 2025 MHSAA Division 7 State Finals: (11-3) Schoolcraft Eagles vs. (14-0) Menominee Maroons at Ford Field. Menominee defeated Schoolcraft 34-6 Final.

For the Maroons, they scored 28 unanswered points in this game. Menominee Maroons RB Clayton Miller had three rushing touchdowns & 112 rushing yards, QB Tanner Theuerkauf had a passing touchdown, two-point conversion, & 160 passing yards, WR/CB Maverick Geniesse & RB Jackson Myszak each had a touchdown, RB Dawson Bardowski had 112 rushing yards, and RB Dylan Beal had a two-point conversion against the Eagles. The Maroons defense had two takeaways.

For the Eagles, they didn't score until the fourth quarter. Schoolcraft Eagles QB Jack DeVries had 191 total yards & two interceptions, RB TJ Luteyn a rushing touchdown & 41 rushing yards, and CB Brayden Boyes & OG JD Perrin had two takeaways combined against the Maroons.

Menominee Maroons won their first MHSAA football State title for the first time since 2007. They have four MHSAA Football State Titles.

In the 2025 MHSAA Division 2 State Finals: (11-2) Orchard Lake Saint Mary's Eaglets vs. (12-2) Dexter Dreadnaughts at Ford Field. Orchard Lake Saint Mary's defeated Dexter 51-14 Final.

For the Eaglets, they are the 14th school to score 50 or more points in a State Finals game. OLSM Eaglet's QB Jabin Gonzales had four passing touchdowns & 406 total yards, WR Lorenzo Barber had two receiving touchdowns, 8 receptions, & 149 receiving yards, WRs Brandon Adams & Brannon Hardy each had a receiving touchdown, K Beckett Kiefer had a three point field-goal made, and RB Jamari Givhan & Daniel Taylor had a rushing touchdown against the Dreadnaughts. The Eaglets defense had three takeaways and four sacks including a fumble-recovery touchdown and two interceptions.

For the Dreadnaughts, this was their first State Finals appearance in school history. Dexter Dreadnaughts QB Cooper Arnedt had a passing touchdown, 215 passing yards, & three turnovers, WR Cole Novara had 10 receptions, 64 receiving yards, & a kickoff return touchdown, TE William Simpson had a receiving touchdown, 8 receptions, & 91 receiving yards, and CB/S Jake Stepaniak had a fumble recovery against the Eaglets.

Orchard Lake Saint Mary's Eaglets won back to back State Titles for the first time since 2014-2016. They have 10 MHSAA Football State Titles.

In the 2025 MHSAA Division 6 State Finals: (11-3) Kingsley Stags vs. (11-3) Jackson Lumen Christi Titans at Ford Field. Jackson Lumen Christi defeated Kingsley 28-14 Final.

For the Titans, they gave up more than 14 points in this game. Jackson LC RBs Sean Walicki & Ayden Gatewood had three rushing touchdowns and 172 rushing yards combined, QB Benny Gatson had a passing touchdown & 111 passing yards, and WR/CB Johnny Walters had a three receptions, a receiving touchdown, and interception against the Stags. The Titans defense had two takeaways including a fumble recovery and interception.

For the Stags, they were able to come back from a 14 point deficit to tie the game at halftime. However, they were scoreless in the second half. Kingsley Stags RB Gavin Lewis had a touchdown & 117 rushing yards, QB Tucker Dreves had a passing touchdown, TE/DE Andrew George had a rushing touchdown, and RB/CB Nolan Hodges had 38 rushing yards and a fumble-recovery against the Titans.

Jackson Lumen Christi Titans became the 7th school win their fourth consecutive MHSAA Football State Title in MHSAA history. They have 15 MHSAA Football State Titles.
