📻 We Are One Body Radio Family 🙏

Today, January 7, the Church celebrates the Memorial of St. Raymond of Peñafort. We invite all our listeners to join us in prayer and ask for his powerful intercession.

St. Raymond was a Dominican priest, a brilliant teacher of Church law, and a humble servant who helped many find truth, justice, and freedom in Christ.

✨ St. Raymond of Peñafort is the patron saint of:

Canon lawyers and civil lawyers

Attorneys and jurists

Confessors

Prisoners

Those falsely accused

Those seeking justice or freedom

If you or someone you love is facing legal struggles, seeking clarity, or longing for freedom—spiritual or physical—today is a beautiful day to place those intentions before God through St. Raymond’s prayers.

🕊️ St. Raymond of Peñafort, pray for us!

Thank you for being part of the We Are One Body Radio community. Let us continue to pray together as one body in Christ. 💙✝️

To our We Are One Body Radio family 🤍
Epiphany reminds us that Christ is revealed to all—near and far, listening hearts united as one body. As the Holy Door closes and we continue the journey began during the Jubilee Year 2025, we’re invited to live what we’ve heard and believe: to carry hope, mercy, and faith into the world in 2026. The door may close, but the mission continues.

Walking together as pilgrims of hope, may we keep tuning our hearts to God’s voice and becoming the light we proclaim. ✨

✨ December 23 – O Antiphon: O Emmanuel ✨

Dear We Are One Body Radio family, as we draw so close to Christmas, today the Church invites us to pray the final O Antiphon: O Emmanuel — “God with us.”

Rooted in Isaiah 7:14, this ancient prayer reminds us that Jesus is not distant. He comes near. He enters our lives, our struggles, our hopes, and our world. 🌍❤️

Let us pray together today:

Latin:
O Emmanuel, Rex et legifer noster, exspectatio gentium, et Salvator earum:
veni ad salvandum nos Domine Deus noster.

English:
O Emmanuel, our King and Lawgiver, the Expected of the Nations and their Saviour,
come to save us, O Lord our God.

As we wait for the joy of Christmas, may we open our hearts to Emmanuel—God truly with us—and trust Him to save, heal, and renew us. 🙏✨

Please join us in prayer today and share this with someone who needs the reminder that God is near. 💙

✨ O Antiphon for December 22 – O Rex Gentium ✨
As we draw closer to the joy of Christmas, today the Church lifts up the great cry:
O Rex Gentium, et desideratus earum,
lapisque angularis, qui facis utraque unum:
veni, et salva hominem, quem de limo formasti.
English Translation:
O King of the Gentiles and the Desired of them,
Thou Cornerstone that dost make both one,
come and deliver man, whom Thou didst form
out of the dust of the earth.
Today we call upon Christ as King of all nations, the One who unites what is divided and restores us to wholeness. He is our Cornerstone—our hope, our peace, and our salvation.
🙏 Join us on We Are One Body Radio as we continue to prepare our hearts, longing for the Savior who comes to make all things one.

🎶 December 20 | Pray the O Antiphon with Us 🎶

Dear friends of We Are One Body Radio,
Today we invite you to pause and pray the O Antiphon for December 20, lifting our hearts together as we prepare for the coming of Christ.

O Clavis David
O Key of David and Sceptre of the house of Israel,
Who dost open and no man doth shut,
Who dost shut and no man doth open,
come and bring forth from his prisonhouse
the captive that sitteth in darkness
and in the shadow of death.

May the Lord unlock what is bound, bring light where there is darkness, and set hearts free. Join us in prayer today and let this ancient cry of hope rise as one body. 🙏

🎄 Advent Reflection | December 19 – O Root of Jesse 🎄
For our We Are One Body Radio family

O Root of Jesse,
standing as a sign among the peoples;
before You kings will shut their mouths,
to You the nations will make their prayer:
Come and deliver us, and delay no longer.

As we pray this beautiful O Antiphon, we are reminded that Christ comes from humble roots, yet His presence silences the powers of the world and draws every nation to hope. Jesus is both gentle and strong—rooted in history, yet alive and active today.

As Christmas draws near, may we open our hearts to the quiet but powerful ways God is working in our lives. May we trust that even what seems small or hidden can become a sign of great hope for others.

Come, Lord Jesus. Do not delay. 🌟

✨ Dec 18 – O Antiphon: O Adonai ✨

Today we pray with the Church’s ancient cry:

“O Adonai, leader of the house of Israel,
giver of the Law to Moses on Sinai:
come to rescue us with your mighty power.”

As we draw closer to Christmas, this O Antiphon reminds us that the Lord who once led His people still walks with us today—guiding, teaching, and saving. Whatever burdens you carry, He is faithful to deliver His people.

Thank you for being part of the We Are One Body Radio family. Let us prepare our hearts together and trust in the God who comes to save. 🙏🎶

✨ Entering the “O” Antiphons – A Sacred Countdown to Christmas ✨

As we move into the final days of Advent, the Church invites us into a beautiful and ancient prayer known as the “O” Antiphons. From December 17–23, these antiphons are prayed with the Magnificat at Evening Prayer, each one calling upon the Messiah by a different biblical title—names filled with longing, promise, and hope.

Each antiphon begins with a heartfelt cry: “O come…”
They express the deep desire of God’s people for the Savior and prepare our hearts to welcome Christ anew at Christmas.

🌿 December 17 – O Sapientia (O Wisdom) 🌿
Today we begin with O Sapientia, which proclaims:

“O Wisdom of our God Most High,
guiding creation with power and love:
come to teach us the path of knowledge.”

This first antiphon reminds us that Jesus is not only born in a manger—He is the eternal Wisdom of God, present at the beginning of creation. In a world that often feels confusing, noisy, or divided, we cry out for the Wisdom that orders all things with love.

As we pray today, we can ask:
• Where do I need God’s wisdom in my life right now?
• Am I willing to be taught, guided, and formed by Him?
• How can I slow down and listen more deeply as Christmas approaches?

May these sacred days help us move from busyness to beholding, from noise to listening, and from expectation to encounter.

🎶 Stay tuned to We Are One Body Radio as we continue walking together through this holy season of Advent, preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ.

Come, Lord Jesus. 💜

✨ Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. ✨
And when we surrender ourselves to Him, He forms that joy deep within our souls.

Cardinal Désiré-Joseph Mercier encouraged the faithful to pray the following prayer every day, explaining that those who do so would be enlightened, strengthened, and guided in all things, learning to recognize God’s will and to rest peacefully in it.

He taught that this prayer opens the soul to the action of the Holy Spirit, producing spiritual fruits such as peace of heart, trust in God, freedom from anxiety, docility to grace, and true interior joy.

We invite all our We Are One Body Radio family to pray this prayer slowly and sincerely today—and, if possible, to make it a daily habit.

🙏 Prayer to the Holy Spirit 🙏

Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore You.
Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me.
Tell me what I ought to do, give me Your orders.
I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me
and to accept all that You permit to happen to me.
Let me only know Your will. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit. Form us, lead us, and fill us with Your joy. 💛

✨ Invoking the Intercession of St. Juan Diego ✨

Dear friends of We Are One Body® Radio,
Today we turn our hearts to St. Juan Diego, the humble visionary of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a faithful model of trust and simplicity.

St. Juan Diego is the patron of Indigenous peoples, converts, and those seeking guidance or protection under Our Lady’s mantle. Through his “yes,” the Blessed Virgin Mary offered the world a message of tenderness, hope, and maternal love.

Let us ask for his prayerful intercession today, especially for all who are in need of comfort and courage. May we rest in the same assurance the Blessed Mother gave him on Tepeyac Hill:

“Am I not here, I who am your Mother?”

Holy St. Juan Diego, pray for us! 🙏🌹
Our Lady of Guadalupe, protect us under your loving mantle.
