Now like many of you, I am stepping out and willing to be fully self-expressed both in my written and video content. Can I share 3 lessons I learned this week?

It’s been a full one…stretching, challenging, and reminding me of what really matters when we show up online.

Here’s what landed for me (and I think it’ll serve you too):

1. Presence beats perfection.
After Day 1 of my workshop, I felt the nudge to pivot. I stayed up rewriting my entire presentation overnight. It wasn’t polished, but it was present. And presence changed the energy in the room.

👉 Don’t wait for perfect. just show up.

2. Listening creates clarity.
The “me too” moments from attendees showed me exactly what they needed most.

👉 If you’re ever stuck on what to post, listen to your people. Their words will guide you.

3. Vulnerability builds connection.
When I shared this story with my mastermind students, one of them said, “I knew you were my next coach not because of what you teach, but because of who you are.”

👉 Your people connect more with your honesty than your highlight reel.

Sometimes serving well means letting go of your plan.

At the end of Day 1 of the Boost Your Brand’s Visibility Workshop, I felt it deep in my spirit—what I had prepared for Day 2 wasn’t what my people needed.

So I did something I’ve never done before:
I rewrote the entire presentation—overnight.

My nerves were everywhere.
I kept thinking, “What if this doesn’t land?”
And my prayer was simple: “God, let me show up present and serve at my best.”

On Day 2, everything shifted.
The energy.
The breakthroughs.
The way people leaned in and connected.

Later, I shared this story with my mastermind students—because it’s a lesson in vulnerability and social listening.

When you listen to your people and meet them where they are…
When you let go of perfection and trust your intuition…
That’s when real transformation happens.

One student told me, “I knew you were my next coach—not because of what you teach, but because of who you are.”

Here’s the truth…if you ever want to build a team or grow a stronger community, your rhythm matters even more.

Because your consistency doesn’t just serve you.
It sets the tone for everyone watching how you show up.

On social media, your rhythm communicates:
“You can trust me.”
“I’ll be here tomorrow, not just today.”
“You can lean in, because I’m not going anywhere.”

And if you dream of building a team? The same is true.
If you’re scattered, they’ll be scattered.
If you’re waiting for perfect, they’ll wait too.
If you’re inconsistent, no one knows what to follow.

Consistency isn’t about perfection.

The real gift of Day 1…

Yesterday wasn’t just about slides or strategies.
It wasn’t about the content I prepared.

The true gift came from the shares.

The nods of recognition.
The “me too” moments that reminded us—we’re in this together.

And as I listened, I realized something powerful:
When you pay attention to your community, you learn how to serve them better.

That’s the heart of social listening.

It’s leaning in when someone shares where they are on their journey.
It’s noticing the themes underneath their words—the desires, the challenges, the next-level goals.
And it’s making the space to adjust, so you can meet them right there.

That’s what I did after Day 1.
I adjusted my Day 2 presentation because my community gave me the gift of clarity.

Listening is what makes growth possible—for you, for me, and for the people we’re called to serve.

Before I step into the room today, I pause to pray.

The Boost Your Brand’s Visibility Workshop begins.
The calendar is full Zoom links, lesson notes, tech checks.
But before any of that, I sit still.

I pray every person stepping into this space feels seen, safe, and supported.

I pray clarity rises where confusion has lived.
I pray confidence meets them right where doubt once sat.
I pray the weight so many coaches carry—trying to do everything on their own—lifts, even if just for a moment, so they can breathe in possibility again.

And I pray for myself too.
That I show up with a heart of service.
