What the heck??? Well, I have got the station sounding good, thus when playing music that is in compliance with the audio processing. For example, much of the content sounds good over-the-air (on-line), however a small number of songs push the high end too much which destroys the dynamic range, and foremost overall sound quality. I do plan to add some new MP3'a to the computer since WYLC is computer ran. By rhe way, the computer that runs the windows media 9 encoder is now 25 years old and it sounds as good now as it did the day that I brought it home from Walmart. It has never left this location since I have always repaired it. The computer has been damaged by lightning twice because when it storms I do not shut anything down. I have many parts in stock here such as computer main (mother) boards, drives, as well as audio equipment to utilize if what I am utilizing now gets damaged or just stops working.

We play Classic Country during daytime and Vintage Rock at night. To listen, you must utilize a compatible Windows Media Player, thus most phones and wireless devices utilize Android media players, and thus, will not play streaming Windows Media content. However, there is an available APP recognized as the VLC Player that can be downloaded on most Android devices which will enable the launch of a media player that will stream WYLC after download. Most importantly, the VLC Player APP is free and can be installed on most Android and iPhones. The VLC Player can be downloaded free at https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
The second method is to download the Simple Radio App from https://streema.com/mobile/
The WYLC Audio can be found on that platform at https://streema.com/radios/WYLCRADIO
The streema platform is encompassed with streaming many radio radio stations, foremost some that are on the air. However, some of the other streams are published to the streema server to provide entertainment, news, sports, and weather. In essence, streema is a radio community with many, many stations that are available. If you download their APP WYLC is listed as being located in Jackson, KY. I could not get a license for the station to operate legally in Wayne County W.V. Therefore, while actually being located near Dickson, W.V. Henceforth, we are a virtual radio station that is also located in Jackson, KY. Consequently, that is more than 100 miles away from the Dickson, Shoals, Lavalette, W.V. area.
