Tiled my toilet this week First time tiling and super happy with the results! Had to self level the floor and do a lot of learning, but super satisfied 🥳

I was just wondering what you guys think I should do above the tile? Paint? VJ board?

Bad tiles or bad tiling?
Would love your thoughts. I've just visited my house and saw the bathroom we are renovating. The tiler has laid most of the floor tiles and they are all out of alignment (see photo example). The tiler has come on great recommendation and speaks very passionately of his work. When flagging the alignment concern with him he told us that all the tiles are slightly different sizes and this alignment is as good as it'll get. When I look at the layout it seems shifting the row of tiles up 1-2mm would help the wonky layout. Would love your thoughts. If this is the finish across the floor...l'm not really happy.

Should my builder fix this? Building a custom home with a local builder in Maryland. The foundation pour has some honeycombing. Builder hasn’t patched, as it’s all below grade. Am I nitpicking? Workmanship issue? Appreciate any wisdom from the hive mind (regrettable honeycombing pun).

Very happy with our new paver walkway Removed this old, narrow, cracked concrete walkway and upgraded to a new paver walkway. Super happy with the way it came out. It’s our 4th paver/hardscaping project so we thought we’d try a bit more complex pattern with the herringbone. A diamond blade tile wet saw and a 45degree jig made all the cuts much easier to make.
