The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) gathered at Michael’s Function Hall in Haverhill for their highly anticipated 2025 Annual Dinner. With a record number of attendees, the evening was a celebration of economic growth, community resilience, and exciting future leadership. President & CEO Michael Bevilacqua kicked off the night with gratitude for the chamber's partners and a heartwarming personal announcement regarding the future "succession plan" of the Bevilacqua family.
The evening’s keynote speaker, Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the Commonwealth’s achievements. She discussed the administration's focus on making Massachusetts more affordable through tax cuts and the Affordable Homes Act, as well as investments in innovation and higher education through the Mass Leads Act. She emphasized that Massachusetts is currently ranked number one for raising a family for education, and health.
The night also honored distinguished community members with prestigious awards. Congratulations to Francis J. Kenneally III (Ralph B. Wilkinson Award), Joseph DiPietro (Business Assistance Award), Stephanie Messina Sewade (Women in Business Award), and Alex Joel Garcia (Emerging Leader Award) for their outstanding contributions to the Merrimack Valley.
