Happy Birthday, Jerry Garcia!

Today I'm celebrating the 80th birthday of my dear friend, the late GREAT Jerry Garcia. Some of my best musical memories are of the times we spent together exploring our mutual love of traditional American music. Jerry was a great communicator and made countless connections with music enthusiasts all over the planet through his unique guitar style (acoustic and electric) and expressive voice. I'm so grateful to have known him as a friend and collaborator. Happy Birthday Spud!
