⚠️ U.S.-BROKERED ISRAEL-LEBANON TALKS ADVANCE CEASEFIRE FRAMEWORK, LAF CONTROL SOUTH OF LITANI, AND HIZBOLLAH DISARMAMENT EFFORTS

🔸 The United States convened a fourth high-level trilateral meeting between Israeli and Lebanese representatives on June 2-3, 2026.

Israel and Lebanon agreed to implement a ceasefire contingent on a complete cessation of Hizbollah fire and the evacuation of all Hizbollah operatives from the South Litani Sector.

🔹 The sides agreed to advance pilot zones in which the Lebanese Armed Forces would take exclusive control of territory, excluding all non-state actors.

The delegations also discussed a broader security framework aimed at ensuring the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of both Israel and Lebanon, including the dismantlement of non-state armed groups and preventing their re-emergence.

🔹 Israel and Lebanon reaffirmed that they have no hostile intent toward one another and committed to continuing direct negotiations under U.S. mediation.

The talks are intended to build confidence, resolve outstanding issues, and work toward a comprehensive agreement. The parties agreed to reconvene the political and security tracks during the week of June 22.

🔹 All parties condemned Iran’s attacks on countries in the region and its ongoing destabilizing activity, including support for proxies.

The United States reiterated support for both governments exercising sovereignty and emphasized that any ceasefire agreement must be reached directly between Israel and Lebanon under U.S. mediation, not through any separate track.

🔹 The United States also underscored its intent to support the Lebanese Armed Forces.

The stated goal is to improve LAF capacity and enable the effective exercise of sovereignty throughout Lebanese territory. Secretary Rubio’s June 2 statement was also emphasized: “Hizbollah is not just an enemy of Israel and an enemy of America, but that it is an enemy of Lebanon.”

🔹 Israel reiterated that its security and territorial integrity require the disarmament of Hizbollah and the dismantlement of its infrastructure throughout Lebanon.

Lebanon reaffirmed the need for mutual respect of internationally recognized borders, full implementation of the cessation of hostilities, and the strengthening of the Lebanese Armed Forces with U.S. support.

❗️ Following the announcement, sirens warning of hostile aircraft infiltration sounded in Arab al-Aramshe and Kfar Yuval.

In Kfar Yuval, a suspicious aerial target was identified before the incident concluded. No injuries were reported.

❌ The IDF says it is investigating Hizbollah’s use of first-person view (FPV) drones with apparent night-vision capabilities.

The terror group recently published footage appearing to show FPV drones equipped with thermal cameras. Two IDF soldiers were killed this week in nighttime explosive drone attacks.

The IDF says the drone threat is “a dynamic and evolving threat, characterized by inexpensive, readily available tools with a high rate of variability.”

The military says trends including night-vision drone capabilities are known and being studied. It added that review processes, countermeasures, and operational methods are being implemented in line with lessons from the field and ongoing operational assessments.

⚠️ IDF EXPANDS STRIKES ACROSS LEBANON AS HEZBOLLAH-ALIGNED REPORT CLAIMS IRAN PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE REGIONAL ESCALATION

🛸 IDF CONTINUES OPERATIONS AGAINST HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE: IDF Spokesperson BG Effie Defrin said the military is continuing extensive efforts to develop operational solutions against Hezbollah drone threats, with the issue being personally overseen by Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir.

Defrin said progress has already been made and additional solutions are being pursued.

The IDF said it will continue striking Hezbollah infrastructure throughout Lebanon, from Dahieh to Tyre, wherever threats to Israeli civilians or IDF troops are identified.

The IDF also announced that the 146th Division completed three months of operations in southern Lebanon’s forward defense zone. During the operations, forces eliminated more than 550 terrorists and dismantled more than 2,700 Hezbollah infrastructure sites.

According to the IDF, more than 200 weapons storage facilities were destroyed with Israeli Air Force assistance, and dozens of underground routes were dismantled together with the Yahalom Unit.

⚠️ HEZBOLLAH-ALIGNED REPORT CLAIMS IRAN FEARED BROADER CONFLICT: Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that recent Israeli statements regarding possible strikes in Beirut’s Dahieh district were viewed by Iran as a potential prelude to wider regional escalation and an Israeli-American effort to impose a new reality before any agreement with Washington.

According to the report, Iran responded by signaling it may halt negotiations with the United States and by mobilizing missile units inside Iranian territory, movements reportedly detected by both Israel and the U.S.

The report further claims Iran warned mediators it was considering a preemptive strike, believing the escalation in Lebanon could be a preparatory phase for a future attack on Iran itself.

At the same time, Hezbollah reportedly intensified rocket fire toward northern Israel and placed its forces on alert for a possible new phase of ground fighting.

According to Al-Akhbar, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun proposed a formula under which Hezbollah would halt launches toward Israel in exchange for Israel refraining from large-scale operations, including strikes in Dahieh. Hezbollah reportedly rejected the proposal.

The report adds that Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri later conveyed messages indicating Hezbollah would accept a ceasefire if Israel also committed to one.

Al-Akhbar further claims Iran sent additional warnings through regional mediators, including signals suggesting possible direct intervention, which allegedly led Washington to pressure Israel against striking Dahieh.

The report described the current situation as a “temporary freeze,” adding that Hezbollah does not intend to stop attacks against the IDF unless Israel formally commits to a ceasefire and withdrawal framework viewed by Hezbollah as realistic and enforceable.

🎯 IDF ELIMINATES ISLAMIC JIHAD ROCKET CELL COMMANDER IN GAZA: The IDF announced that yesterday it struck in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated terrorist Ahmed Abu Mughaysib, head of a rocket-launching cell in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.

According to the IDF, the terrorist was involved in advancing attack plans against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and also took part in facilitating smuggling attempts into the Gaza Strip.

The IDF stated he was eliminated after posing a threat to IDF troops.

In addition, overnight, the IDF struck several Hamas terrorists in the central Gaza Strip who were advancing terror attacks and posed an immediate threat to IDF troops. One terrorist was eliminated, and hits on additional terrorists were identified.

🚢 ZAMIR EXPANDS ISRAELI NAVY’S LONG-RANGE ROLE AS IDF FORCES TAKE CONTROL OF HEZBOLLAH’S BEAUFORT RIDGE STRONGHOLD

🚢 ZAMIR: ISRAELI NAVY BECOMING A LONG-RANGE STRATEGIC ARM OF THE IDF: IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir visited the Israeli Navy’s Haifa base together with Navy Commander MG Eyal Harel and senior naval leadership. During the visit, Zamir toured missile boats, conducted a situational assessment, and reviewed operational challenges in the maritime arena.

Zamir said he directed the strengthening of the Israeli Navy as an additional long-range strategic arm of the IDF upon assuming his position, adding that implementation of the concept is now being accelerated. He stated that Navy forces are operating across multiple combat arenas, including difficult maritime theaters near and far, as well as in undisclosed operations.

Zamir said the Navy plays a significant role in striking Israel’s enemies and “reshaping the Middle East.” He stated that the IDF is prepared to immediately resume combat operations against the Iranian regime if required, and said the Navy has a decisive role in Israel’s ability to strike Iran again “with determination, as we have done in the past.”

Alongside long-range offensive activity, Zamir emphasized that the Navy’s primary mission remains defending Israel’s sovereignty, maritime borders, and civilians.

Referring to Lebanon, Zamir stated: “We take the initiative, operate, and strike every threat.” He added that there is “no ceasefire” for IDF forces and said Israel will continue maximizing operational freedom to remove threats against Israeli civilians and troops.

♟️ IDF TAKES OPERATIONAL CONTROL OF HEZBOLLAH’S BEAUFORT RIDGE STRONGHOLD: IDF Spokesperson BG Effie Defrin announced that forces completed a large-scale operation in southern Lebanon, achieving operational control of the Beaufort Ridge and Wadi Saluki area.

According to the IDF, the operation was planned over an extended period and approved by IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir following detailed operational preparations.

Defrin stated: “Control of the Beaufort Ridge carries important operational significance. It is a key geographic asset of Hezbollah and serves as a centeral hub for the terrorist organization. From this area, Hezbollah directs fire and conducts observation toward the communities of the Galilee Panhandle and Metula. Since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion alone, more than 400 launches have been fired from this area.”

The IDF stated that the area contained significant Iranian-backed command and control infrastructure above and below ground. According to the military, the operation continues degrading Hezbollah’s capabilities and pushing the organization farther from the border.

The division dismantled weapons storage facilities, observation posts, combat compounds, and terrorist infrastructure above and below ground. A major operation to clear terrorist infrastructure in the Beit Hanoun area was recently completed.

❌ The division’s Fire Brigade struck and eliminated more than 35 terrorists, including terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre and posed a threat to IDF troops operating in Gaza.

Engineering troops dismantled approximately seven kilometers of underground routes in the northern Gaza Strip.

❌ Security inspectors from the Ministry of Defense Crossings Authority thwarted an attempt to smuggle hundreds of bags of to***co hidden inside wheelchairs intended for transfer into the Gaza Strip.

The smuggling attempt was uncovered during security inspections at the Tarkumia crossing, carried out in coordination with representatives of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories. Security checks on goods entering Gaza have recently been tightened due to increased smuggling attempts.

Following the incident, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Major General Yoav (Yoram) Halevi instructed that a security and criminal investigation be opened to hold those involved accountable.

⚖️ Israel approved a joint Defense and Finance Ministry plan to prosecute the Nukhba terrorists responsible for the October 7 massacre, allocating more than NIS 1 billion between 2026-2029 to establish the required judicial infrastructure.

The funding will support the construction and operation of court facilities, prosecution systems, and IDF command frameworks handling the cases. It will also cover personnel recruitment, salaries, maintenance, communications systems, transportation, medical support, feeding services, and additional operational needs.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel is committed to ensuring that every terrorist involved in the murders, rapes, kidnappings, and attacks on Israeli citizens bears full responsibility for their actions. He described the prosecutions as a moral and national duty toward the victims, survivors, bereaved families, and all citizens of Israel.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said the approved budget will ensure that all enemies of Israel understand the consequences awaiting those who attack the country.

🚨 ISRAEL’S NEW BEIRUT DETERRENCE POLICY FACES EARLY TEST AFTER LATEST HEZBOLLAH INFILTRATION ALERT

🚨 SIRENS ACTIVATED IN NORTHERN ISRAEL AFTER AERIAL INFILTRATION FROM LEBANON: Sirens were activated in Manara and Kiryat Shmona after a suspicious aerial target crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.

The IDF stated that the target was intercepted. Rocket and missile sirens were also triggered due to concerns over falling interceptor debris.

❗️ INCIDENT COMES ONE DAY AFTER NEW ISRAELI WARNING TO BEIRUT: The infiltration alert came shortly after Defense Minister Israel Katz publicly warned that Beirut’s Dahiyeh district would “pay the price” for continued attacks on northern Israel.

Katz stated that Israel has established a new equation under which attacks on Israeli civilians could trigger direct strikes on Hezbollah strongholds in Beirut.

Prime Minister Netanyahu similarly stated that Israel conveyed to President Trump that if Hezbollah continues attacking Israeli cities and civilians, Israel will strike terrorist targets in Beirut.

🗣️ HEZBOLLAH REJECTS NEW DETERRENCE FORMULA: Hezbollah has publicly rejected the proposed framework and insists only on a full ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory.

The latest infiltration alert now places renewed attention on whether Israel moves from warning to enforcement in the coming days.

🦇 IDF’S “ATALEF” DRONE FAMILY EXPANDS AFTER RAPID WARTIME DEVELOPMENT

🦇 IDF REVEALS NEW DETAILS ON “ATALEF” COMBAT DRONES: The IDF disclosed additional information about the “Atalef” (“Bat”) drone family developed by the “Yeftach” unit of the Land Technology Division during the war. Inspired in part by FPV drone warfare seen in Ukraine, the system was designed to provide frontline forces with portable, highly maneuverable attack drones capable of real-time targeting.

According to the IDF, the first operational version was developed and deployed within just three months. Shortly afterward, the drone carried out its first successful elimination in Gaza.

🎯 MODULAR DRONES USED IN GAZA AND LEBANON OPERATIONS: The drones are equipped with advanced warheads and modular systems that allow rapid adaptation for different operational missions. Officials say the “Atalef” can track moving targets at speeds of up to 130 km/h.

The IDF highlighted a recent strike by the 226th Brigade against a Hezbollah operative riding a motorcycle in Lebanon as one example of the system’s operational use.

🛰️ WOUNDED SOLDIERS HELPED ACCELERATE FIELD ADAPTATION: The IDF emphasized the drone’s relatively low cost, fast production capability, and ease of training compared to more complex systems.

To speed battlefield adaptation, wounded soldiers who returned to service were integrated into development and training teams, helping train frontline troops while providing direct battlefield feedback for upgrades and modifications.

The IDF says the original “Atalef” has since expanded into an entire family of drones, with multiple versions adapted for different combat missions and operational needs.

🎯 The IDF eliminated terrorist Yousef Ayesh Awad Ramadan in the central Gaza Strip: Ramadan, a deputy commander in a Hamas Nukhba terrorist cell, infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre and took part in the abduction of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eliya Cohen, Alon Ohel, and Or Levy from the bomb shelter at the Re’im Junction.

According to the IDF, throughout the war and in recent weeks, Ramadan advanced attack plans against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians and posed an immediate threat to troops operating in the Gaza Strip.

Prior to the strike, the IDF stated that steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

💰 ISRAEL DEFENSE EXPORTS REACH RECORD $19.2 BILLION AS FRANCE RESTRICTS ISRAELI PARTICIPATION IN MAJOR DEFENSE EXHIBITION

💰 Israeli defense exports reached a record $19.2 billion in 2025: According to the Defense Ministry's International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), exports rose nearly 30% from $14.8 billion in 2024, marking the fifth consecutive year of record-breaking sales.

Exports to the Asia-Pacific region nearly doubled to $6.1 billion. Europe remained the largest market, accounting for 36% of total sales, or $6.9 billion.

Countries participating in the Abraham Accords increased their share of Israeli defense purchases to 15%, up from 12% the previous year. Officials expect additional growth in Gulf demand following the conflict with Iran.

Government-to-government agreements generated approximately $10 billion, accounting for more than half of total exports. Contracts valued above $100 million represented 53% of overall export volume.

🛡️ Air defense, missile, and rocket systems remained Israel's leading defense export category: The category accounted for 29% of total sales. Surveillance and optoelectronic systems saw the sharpest growth, rising from 6% to 22% of exports.

Manned aircraft and avionics, along with radar and electronic warfare systems, each accounted for 11%. C4I systems represented 7%, while cyber-intelligence systems accounted for 2%.

Defense Ministry officials credited recent reforms that streamlined export licensing procedures and expanded the number of approved buyer countries. Officials also said international demand for Israeli systems remained high despite sanctions and restrictions imposed by some Western European governments.

At the same time, growing global competition and the strengthening shekel have increased pressure on profit margins.

⚠️ France will restrict Israeli participation at the upcoming EUROSATORY defense exhibition in Paris: France informed Israel's Ministry of Defense that it will prohibit official Israeli participation, preventing the establishment of a national pavilion and barring government representatives from attending.

Israeli defense companies will also be prohibited from displaying offensive weapon systems, with only air-defense products permitted for exhibition.

Israel views the move as discriminatory, noting that comparable restrictions are not being imposed on other international defense industries. Israeli officials said the decision departs from accepted norms governing major global defense exhibitions.

Officials argue the restrictions reflect political and commercial considerations rather than professional or security concerns. They also view the move as part of a broader pattern of increasingly critical French policies toward Israel in recent years.

Israeli criticism also points to what officials see as a contradiction between France's stated commitment to democratic values and its decision to exclude Israeli offensive defense technologies from an international forum.

Israeli officials contend that these systems have demonstrated proven operational effectiveness against terrorist organizations and hostile regional actors. They argue the restrictions are intended to limit exposure to Israeli defense capabilities that have gained significant international recognition.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said the record export results demonstrate continued global confidence in Israel's defense industry, even during a third year of war.

❌ TERROR CELL APPREHENDED IN THE MENASHE REGION: Over the weekend, IDF soldiers, acting on IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) intelligence, apprehended three terrorists in the area of Meithalun who were preparing to carry out a terror attack in the Menashe Brigade region.

Following the arrests, troops searched the area and located an improvised “Carlo” firearm concealed underground. The suspects were transferred to security forces for further processing.

❌ HEBRON OPERATION FOLLOWS GUSH ETZION RAMMING ATTACK: IDF forces from the Yehuda Brigade operated overnight in Hebron at the home of the terrorist who carried out the vehicle-ramming attack at the Gush Etzion Junction.

As part of the operation, troops raided the residence and questioned individuals close to the attacker.

The terrorist was shot dead by a soldier from the Kfir Brigade’s Nahshon Battalion. Three Israeli civilians were injured in the attack, including two teenage girls, one of whom was seriously wounded.

Road closures remain in place in the area.

🎯 IDF ELIMINATES TERRORISTS ADVANCING ATTACKS IN GAZA: Over the past several days, the IDF eliminated five terrorists from multiple organizations in the Gaza Strip who were advancing imminent attacks against IDF troops.

Among those eliminated were Salem Faiz Hamed Krayqa, a Hamas Shuja’iyya Battalion operative involved in preparing explosive materials and advancing sniper attacks against troops; Saeed Faiz Saeed Shamali, a Hamas Nukhba team commander; and Ahmad Ali Abd al-Rahim Khalas, an Islamic Jihad sniper platoon commander involved in advancing sniper attacks against IDF forces.

Two additional Hamas terrorists were eliminated while planting explosive devices intended to harm IDF troops.

💥 HAMAS COMMANDER ELIMINATED IN GAZA STRIKE: The IDF announced that on Saturday it struck and killed Jamal Abu Aoun, a platoon commander in Hamas’s military wing who also worked as a doctor at Yafa Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

According to the military, Abu Aoun commanded Hamas operatives and advanced and planned attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.

The IDF said he was recently involved in force-building, rehabilitation, and rearmament efforts for Hamas in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

⚠️ HOME FRONT COMMAND EXTENDS WARNING TIMES IN NORTHERN ISRAEL: Following an operational review, the Home Front Command extended rocket alert warning times from 60 to 90 seconds in 161 communities across northern Israel.

The change applies to Haifa, the Krayot, the Carmel region, and additional northern communities.

🛡️ MULTIPLE SECURITY INCIDENTS ALONG THE NORTHERN BORDER: The Home Front Command issued a precautionary directive after launches were identified from Lebanon toward communities along the confrontation line, instructing residents to enter protected spaces when alerts are activated.

During overnight incidents, the IAF intercepted two projectiles that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.

A suspicious aerial target was identified near the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon and later fell inside Israeli territory adjacent to the border. No injuries were reported.

Additional alerts were activated due to interception attempts.

Sirens were also sounded in Ga’aton, Yehiam, Hanita, Shlomi, and Metula.

One suspected hostile aircraft infiltration alert was later determined to be a false identification.

In the Metula area, a launch from Lebanon fell adjacent to IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported.

The incidents occurred despite President Trump announcing that Hezbollah would stop carrying out attacks on Israel under the ceasefire arrangement.
