Did you know Tennessee Valley Weather is locally owned and operated?
Our channel launched in 2020 as one of the nation’s early local streaming weather outlets and the first dedicated to serving Southern Tennessee and North Alabama. What began six years ago as a simple “what if?” has grown into a regional weather operation serving 16 counties, stretching from Columbia to Decatur and from Savannah to Huntsville.
But even as our coverage has grown, one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still local.
Tennessee Valley Weather isn’t corporate media. We’re a locally owned business founded and operated by Ben Luna and Kevin Wright, alongside our sister channels, Local 43 TV and the X Sports Network. When local businesses advertise with us, those dollars stay here; supporting local jobs, local families and continued investment in the communities we serve.
We’re still a relatively young company, but today that original “what if?” provides 15 highly skilled local jobs. And whenever possible, we work to give back to the towns, schools, organizations and people who have supported us along the way.
Most importantly, Tennessee Valley Weather remains committed to doing what we were created to do: providing our region with the very best in truly local weather coverage.
From sunny summer afternoons to nights when the best place to be is inside your tornado safe place, we’ll be here for you because this is our home, too.
