Well folks, that’s gonna do it for The Morning Revolution with Darby and Friends right here on WAYKO, Giant FM — the show that started with coffee, confusion, and maybe one too many bad puns.

If you made it all the way through this morning with us, congratulations — you’ve officially survived another round of whatever this was. You deserve a medal… or at least a second breakfast.

Now remember — if today throws you curveballs, just do what we do: smile, improvise, and hope no one’s recording. And if someone is recording, make it funny.

In a new survey, 29% of American adults admitted that they're still afraid of the dark. But 28% say they LOVE watching horror movies . . . and MEN are more likely to admit to having nightmares after watching a good one.

The survey of 2,000 general population Americans revealed 29% of respondents admitted they still have a fear of the dark, with men slightly more likely than women to have this fear (33% vs. 26%).

Well, folks… our Columbus Day expedition here on The Morning Revolution with Darby and Friends is pulling into port! We didn’t discover any new continents, but we did find a few good songs, some questionable coffee, and one missing pen from the studio. So… that’s a win!

You’ve gotta hand it to Columbus — the guy accidentally found a whole new world and got a holiday out of it. Meanwhile, I can’t even find my car keys without a GPS and a search party!

So today, as you sail through your Monday, remember: even if you take a wrong turn, you might end up somewhere amazing… or at least somewhere with Wi-Fi and snacks.

Early Wednesday morning, a teenager in Columbus, Ohio spotted a bedbug on his family's couch. His grandma decided to SET IT ON FIRE to kill it. But she accidentally set the couch on fire . . . which accidentally set the HOUSE on fire. Fortunately, all five people inside got out safely.
