2025 KLEM Fall Business Spotlight

Second Chapter Gently Used Books is located at 104 Central Avenue NE in downtown Le Mars between Habitue Coffeehouse and the Blue Tequilla Restaurant. The bookstore is managed by the volunteer efforts of the Friends of the Library Organization. Book prices range from $1 to $4. The store is open on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Plymouth County answered the call! We announced on our final KLEM evening report that the 45th Annual Knights of Columbus Phonathon exceeded their $57-thousand dollar challenge goal. The Plymouth County total was more than $63-thousand dollars, with that amount expected to grow. The phonathon benefits Life Skills Training Center and the Iowa Special Olympics.
