MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Be at least 18 years of age. Have a high school diploma, GED, or evidence of equivalent achievement.
• Have completed a minimum of 45 credit hours, pursuing a degree in a Criminal Justice, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• No ongoing repetitious history of committing or participating in misdemeanor crimes, whether detected or not.
• A valid state Motor Vehicle Operator’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (which includes ma*****na).

We are daughters, mothers, sisters, wives & police wives, girlfriends, nieces, great-nieces, cousins, co-workers, and friends.

We are 1 LSPD Major, Sergeants, Detectives, CIOs, members of the US Military, 1 IMPACT Officer, 1 SWAT Operator, task force officers, patrol officers, and Police Academy recruits. We currently employ 23 Women, which is ~13% of our sworn workforce, and the national average.
