🚨 FLOOD WARNING FOR CHEROKEE COUNTY 🚨

A Flood Warning is in effect for Cherokee County until 8:15 AM Tuesday. Heavy rainfall has caused the Chattooga River above Weiss Lake to rise, leading to lowland flooding in areas including Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville, Cornwall Furnace Park, and around Eastern and Western Weiss Lake.

⚠️ Flooding of rivers, creeks, and low-lying areas is occurring or imminent.

✅ Remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown — never drive through flooded roads. Stay alert for road closures and emergency updates.

Use caution near rivers and streams — water levels can rise quickly.
