A young girl's fascination with princesses inspired a Sterling salon owner to give back to the community.

In early November, Sterling resident Luna Miller began looking for a salon that offers princess experiences as a special treat for her almost 4-year-old daughter, Jade, similar to what is offered at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, but closer to home.

She posted an inquiry on the “Real Ladies of Loudoun County” page to see how she could make the idea come to life.

Suzanna Hatton, owner of Glass Door Salon in Sterling, saw the post and knew right away that it was the type of event her team could create.
