We had a blast in the studio yesterday talking to Chuck from C&L Tire in DeRidder . Chuck gave us all the info about the 2nd Annual First Responder Luncheon. This is a FREE LUNCH for all first responders on August 29th at 402 E First Street in DeRidder!

And what's on the menu for the big event? None other than delicious BBQ made by our friend Theo from Hickory Smokehouse! So if you're a first responder (EMT, Police, Firefighter) and you've got a craving for great BBQ, go on down to C&L Tire in DeRidder on August 29th.

Water Conservation Alert – Please Help Leesville This Weekend!

Last night’s storm packed a punch—one of our city wells was struck by lightning and is temporarily out of service. We’ve already ordered the replacement part, but it won’t arrive until Monday or Tuesday.

In the meantime, we’re asking all residents to conserve water as much as possible this weekend. That means:
Skipping outdoor watering
Limiting laundry and dishwashing
Taking shorter showers
Holding off on car washes

Every drop saved helps keep pressure stable and ensures everyone has what they need. We’ll keep you updated as repairs progress—thank you for stepping up for your neighbors and your city!
