The great thing about AI Avatars is that video content can be made even if the subject isn't available! We needed a video and Tom had already left for the week on a vacation. We were still able to get this video made, and from start to finish it only took about 1 hour.

Brian here! My wife and I take time every Sunday to discuss spiritual things with our kids, but recently we added mental health and finances. In the course of those talks our kids wanted a way to earn more money, so we decided to start a business that they could do to learn business skills. Thus Biz Vidz by Kidz was born! They have been having so much fun making the videos, and we have loved helping them.

This was a hot day on set! This was for a video for Utah Awnings and the whole gag was that this guy was getting sunburned at his barbecue. We flew some diffusion in order to make the lighting on him more even and so ironically he was actually probably a lot better off than we were! We love how the video came out though, so it was worth roasting for a bit.

There was some honest to goodness magic that happened in this video. After we shot the initial parts of the video the producer called me and said he felt like we needed something more, and that's when I got the idea for the best part of the shoot, the hilltop scene. This hilltop is one of my favorite places to film/photograph in the entire world. It feels like a connecting place between Earth and heaven, and the lone tree on the hill somehow adds tremendously to the effect. The weather on the day we filmed this, despite being in late May, was frigid, and an awful chilly wind was blowing, but the conditions were literally picture perfect for the visuals.
My favorite thing about the hilltop scene is that people have asked many times how I captured the transition to the stars. The answer is CGI, but it makes me feel pretty great that people are fooled, even for a second, into thinking it's a genuine image.

My daughter has been really enjoying some hits from the Beatles lately, and this song really stuck out to her. It took me back to the filming of this cover by Chrome Street. It was a Beatles song I wasn't really familiar with prior to this instrumental version, but I have come to really enjoy this song. Also if you like this you should check out Chrome Street, they do some really cool covers of famous songs with unique instruments.
