Phoenix Inc. has been an ongoing project that I have been passionate for many years. Someday I'd like to be able to tell the story with proper budget but for now we've been a scrappy little crew. The goal was to make something as close to TV quality as we could on less than $5000. While I recognize each and every shortcoming I feel that we did more than I even believed possible.

The great thing about AI Avatars is that video content can be made even if the subject isn't available! We needed a video and Tom had already left for the week on a vacation. We were still able to get this video made, and from start to finish it only took about 1 hour.

Can people tell your avatars are ai?

We created an avatar for one marketer who posts consistently on LinkedIn. He has a very particular style which we matched as best as we could. The final video came out great, but the real test was to see if his audience picked up on the fact that it was ai. The client even posted in his post that the video was "a little different" and that people should comment if they noticed anything unusual about the video.

I scrolled the comments. No one mentioned that it looked like it might be ai, and in fact the top comment is the one posted here. We see comments like this on nearly every video our clients post, and so far we have never had comments about the videos looking like they are ai (unless the poster tells people first, and then they look for the tiniest imperfections)

Clarion AI Partners is a law firm on the cutting edge of AI law. They are blazing trails in making sure that AI is adopted ethically, and trying to reduce inherent bias in AI among other things. If your business needs help with any aspect of AI implementation or strategy this is the firm I'd recommend! We were able to create this video for their website. This is just a portion of it, but I hope it can give you a sense of the work they are doing!

This video presented an interesting challenge for our AI avatars. We often tell our clients that we can make the avatars say whatever is needed and that we just need a script. That was put to the test here when we had to get the avatar to say Lysophosphatidylcholine. It had to say it not just once, but repeatedly throughout this video. It took some work and creativity but in the end we were able to get the pronunciation and emphasis right and create this video for our client, which he was thrilled with!

We are proud to announce that we have been selected as Best of State winners for 2025 in two categories! We have won the award for videography and scriptwriting! We have enjoyed making great videos for so many of you and look forward to many more!

"For the last 12 years I have made a special 'highlight' reel for each of my kids. It features our favorite pictures and videos of them from the year and is usually set to some of their favorite songs. We also often do a photoshoot relating to a theme they choose. This year my youngest wanted to have a Bingo party. Not a Bluey party, but a Bingo party. Probably because she is the younger sister. So for the opening this year I decided to really go all out and do a special opening to the video. It's not perfect by any means; but the kids really loved it. " - Brian
