This is what grief is.
A hole ripped through the very fabric of your being.
The hole eventually heals along the jagged edges that remain. It may even shrink in size.
But that hole will always be there.
A piece of you always missing.
For where there is deep grief, there was great love.
Don’t be ashamed of your grief.
Don’t judge it.
Don’t suppress it.
Don’t rush it.
Rather, acknowledge it.
Lean into it.
Listen to it.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Sit with the pain. And remember the love.
This is where the healing will begin.

Together we could really help a lot of people! What's on your heart today? ❤

I had one friend that donated to this worthy cause. I have to say I am surprised and don't really know what to make of it so I would just like to say thank you Jackie Eason! Our money together was able to purchase this green urn to be donated. I will check around with the local funeral homes to see who would get the most use out of it. I know that a family will be so grateful to be able to have one to borrow from the funeral home just as I was when I ran into that situation with my daughter. This page is still taking donations and would greatly appreciate any help that might push us towards our goal of retrieving a mother's ashes so that we can give them to her daughter. $3, $5 or $10 can go a long way and do a lot of good if we all come together to help others. God bless!

I don't like to feel so discouraged but I really thought this page would do at least a little better than it has because as of now I don't see us being able to help the daughter retrieve her mother's ashes from the funeral home. Hopefully will be able to at least purchase and urn to donate to a local Funeral Home for others to borrow if they're in need. That's what happened to me when my Jordan died and I was extremely grateful to the family that had donated the urn I used!
