Bob Goyette’s story is a powerful reminder that leadership starts with service. 🇺🇸💙
From military medic to a trusted leader at Liberty Senior Living, Bob’s journey is rooted in compassion, steady care, and a simple belief: people come first. Today, that same mission shows up in the way he supports seniors, families, and the teams who care for them every day. 👏🏡

What can a dime do? In 1961, it helped save a piece of North Carolina history. ⚓

When the USS NORTH CAROLINA Battleship was in danger of being sold for scrap, school children across the state stepped up. Nearly 700,000 students - known as the North Carolina Navy - contributed their spare change to the “Save Our Ship” campaign and helped bring the legendary World War II battleship home to Wilmington.

Today, the Battleship remains one of the most recognizable landmarks along the Cape Fear River and serves as North Carolina’s official World War II memorial.

And now, the Battleship is looking for the people who helped save her.

Did you - or your parents or grandparents - contribute a dime to the campaign? Your memories, photos and stories could become part of the Battleship’s historical archive.
