Honored to Guest on Susan Burrell's "Empowering Chats" Podcast

So happy to have been a guest on Susan Burrell's Empowering Chats podcast, sharing the path of the poet. I got to share the starting point with poetry, as well as share a poem from my new "Breadcrumbs" book. My favorite moment came when Susan read one of the poems and teared up. I even choked up ... and I was the one who wrote it. :)

Since May 2019 - when my company Legacy Productions produced the "Keeping the Peace" documentary to support the emotional and mental wellness of officers - we have created an annual campaign of ThankYouBlue.

This has resulted in a creative montage that is distributed each May to coincide with National Police Week. Veering a bit from our regular annual appreciation for the work of law enforcement, we had the idea of focusing on the gratitude that goes towards our emotional support "facility" dogs who do their faithful service for the force and for the public at large.
