Marta E. Magellan writes incredible ecology books for budding scientists. Her newest one, Up, Up and Away: Monarch Butterflies, is also getting great acclaim. It will be featured in a literacy expert's (Mary Ehrenworth of Columbia University) teacher training book for teaching advanced vocabulary, and it just received kudos from an esteemed entomologist, Vincent D'Amico, Research Scientist at USDA Forest Service:

Just finishing up another wonderful STEAM book by Marta E. Magellan and Mauro Magellan. If you want to share the beautiful world of butterflies with your kids, this is the book!
