“Green Energy”? And yet 99% of society could care less about their daily ecological footprint.

Leeward energy will begin to interact with the community as they file for an appeal. They intend to send out letters to try and contact residents to hear concerns and comments. The photos you see below are from a New York solar field I had the opportunity to view recently and the neighboring property had some pictures from the summer. Leeward is proposing to have a landscape buffer and if it’s anything like what you see here it will be minimal and laughable at best.

“PHOTOS ARE NOT A LEEWARD FACILITY” but if you do some research this is pretty much the standard.

This is where Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC. (Also using the c/o name “Mountain Trail Solar, LLC”). Nothing comes up on a google search for “Mountain Trail Solar, LLC”. If you search the address provided it leads back to Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC. 6688 North Central Expressway, Suite 500 Dallas, Texas 75206.

Is “Mountain Trail” just a more appealing name for this specific project ?

A bit easier on the ear of the locals, being as this 310 acre solar field is going to be right at the bass of the Blue Mountain’s & the Appalachian Trail.
