Now, advocating for plus size women is seen as “irritating” and “complaining”

Not realizing that the Fashionnovas and Sheins snd Pretty Little Things carry trendy plus size clothes because of that “irritating complaining” from plus size women who demanded better. And that just a few VERY SHORT years ago, it was all tents and florals for big women. Even when Fashionnova finally started carrying plus size, it wasn’t as trendy as as the smaller sizes.

But all the gains made from advocating are disappearing

There are less physical stores that carry plus size clothes and shoes and coats, and the ones who do carry “extended sizes”, do so exclusively online

There are more biases in health care, discrimination towards big people is on the rise again and celebrities and public figures feel more comfortable and ENTITLED to disrespect and body shame faaat women publicly

Fighting against the people advocating for plus size humanization is wild

Shedding light and speaking up will always be a form of advocacy and a push to better and more solutions
