Josh Carter took this awesome South Carolina buck yesterday.

Well I got in at 3:45 on opening day of Sc muzzleloader. Was slow till about 6 o’clock. First 4 deer I seen was all bucks and was fighting by 6:25 I had done seen 7 bucks I had a really nice 7 pointer come by at 15 yards but could not move. Some how he snuck in on me. At 6:45 I looked behind me and there was 8 doe’s 3 bucks one I knew was a big 5 that ran with the 9 I killed. No sooner that I had turned around I heard a loud grunt and this deer was standing at 15 yards horning tress he turned back and was heading the way he came and I just knew it was over. I turned around in my seat and the doe’s was staring down a rd and I knew what was fixing to go down. I couldn’t get my tripod and cam turned around on him. He stepped into the rd no more than 30 yards. I fired the shot and he went maybe 15 steps!
