A trip not far from home turned out to be the best one in quite a while. Just a few miles inland was all it took to find some peace of mind, quality family time, and a few awesome shots! Guajome Regional Park is home to beautiful wildlife and calming nature vibes that can lift any mood.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with different camera settings, mainly autofocus modes, as a way to reignite my creative spark. It’s brought a fresh perspective to subjects I’ve photographed countless times before, allowing me to capture nature’s movement in a new way and, in turn, create new art.

After an evening out photographing birds at the lagoon the sunset was brewing and so were the southern lights. Lol. On this night there we're rumblings that the northern lights would be visible from San Diego! I opted not to find darkness and instead found the light! A rainbow is something we’ve all seen before, but lately, I find myself in awe of things I used to overlook. I feel my life as a photographer has shaped the way I see the world. I look past the bad and focus on the good!
