A few weeks ago I came across this little bush puppy. Recently, there have been more and more sightings of neighborhood coyotes cruising around in broad daylight and I finally got a clean shot! It’s wild to think that these big dogs live just outside our windows. Imagine if it were a bunch of wild Labradors or Goldens popping out of the bushes instead.

A trip not far from home turned out to be the best one in quite a while. Just a few miles inland was all it took to find some peace of mind, quality family time, and a few awesome shots! Guajome Regional Park is home to beautiful wildlife and calming nature vibes that can lift any mood.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with different camera settings, mainly autofocus modes, as a way to reignite my creative spark. It’s brought a fresh perspective to subjects I’ve photographed countless times before, allowing me to capture nature’s movement in a new way and, in turn, create new art.
