🎓✨ It’s Never Too Late to Win

At 102 years old, Sarah Simpkins fulfilled a lifelong dream by graduating from Brightpoint Community College’s Early Childhood Education program in Chester, Virginia — and she did it alongside her granddaughter, Halimah Shepherd-Crawford. ❤️

Sarah first attended college decades ago at Allen University, but life intervened when she became pregnant at 20. Still, the dream never left her — and more than 80 years later, she crossed the stage anyway.

Stories like hers remind us that it’s time to unlearn the lies we were taught and reconnect with who we truly are. That’s exactly why we created “Unlocked Minds” — a powerful bundle of ebooks that breaks down:
📚 our real history
⚠️ the traps that keep us stuck
💰 how to build real wealth and power

Schools won’t teach us this — it’s on us. ✊🏾

❤️ Community Hero in Atlanta

Nicky Crawford, a retired Atlanta resident, is using his own resources to uplift the city’s homeless community. Partnering with Georgia Tech students, he helped transform a bus into a mobile laundry service, giving people access to clean clothes and dignity.

After the success of his mobile shower trailer, Crawford expanded his mission with the laundry unit — proving that compassion, innovation, and action can truly change lives.

👏🏾 A powerful reminder that one person can make a big difference.

Meet Deontae and Deontrae Wright, 17-year-old twin brothers from Toledo, Ohio, who are graduating at the very top of their class at Scott High School! 🎓👏🏾

With an outstanding 4.5 GPA, Deontae was named Class of 2019 Valedictorian, while his identical twin Deontrae, close behind with a 4.4 GPA, earned the title of Salutatorian. 🏆

The twins say their secret to success was a healthy competition that pushed them to be their best.

“We both like to compete against each other. We want to score higher than each other,” Deontrae told WTVG.

Born just minutes apart, the brothers swapped first and second place throughout the school year — until Deontae ultimately edged ahead with the highest final GPA.

🎓✨ Twin Excellence in Action!

Meet Keyara and Teyara Watson-Love, twins from Houston, who made history by earning Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology — a field where African American women remain greatly underrepresented. 👏🏾💬

At just 24 years old, the sisters credit their success to their parents, Michael and Sarah Watson-Love, who instilled in them the power and importance of education from an early age.

Their journey of excellence began at E.L. Furr High School, where they graduated with top honors. They went on to attend Texas Woman’s University, earning their Bachelor’s degrees with Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude distinctions. 🏅

Beyond academics, Keyara and Teyara were deeply involved in organizations such as CAID and SOCS, dedicated to advancing speech and hearing sciences.

Representation matters — and these twins are paving the way for future generations. 💛✨
