A special called meeting of the mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg was held Tuesday, October 7th at 4pm. At first a time of public comments and citizen input lasted several minutes. After that concluded a motion was made and seconded to terminate Lewisburg City Manager Roy "Bam" Haislip. After several council members had a discussion period, the roll was called and the motion passed by a 3 to 2 vote.
