This summer's festival will be unforgettable!
The climax of Saturday night, JULY 19th, will feature the world-renowned The Original Wailers, hailing all the way from Jamaica. The Grammy-nominated band was formed by Al Anderson in 2006, inspired by the music of Bob Marley. It all started In December 1973, in London by recommendation of Paul Kossoff that Al Anderson was sent to sit in for him to record “Natty Dread” album, Bob Marley’s first solo album. From then, Al Anderson was the lead guitarist for Bob Marley and Wailers until 1981. Al Anderson is responsible for the most memorable guitar solos in the history of reggae, like “No Woman, No Cry,” and “Three O’clock Road Block.” Andersons’ musical achievements with Bob Marley & The Wailers include the platinum award winning albums, Live at the Lyceum, Babylon by Bus and ten times platinum album Legend. Al Anderson has also been a band member and session musician for such artists as Peter Tosh, Lauryn Hill, Carlos Santana, Ben Harper, and UB40.
