Enjoy the sound of Gefilte Trout this Saturday in Friendship Square, from 10:30 am -12:30 pm!

🎙️Band Bios 🎙️

Gefilte Trout is a Klezmer group that performs traditional Eastern European Jewish and Roma (Gypsy) folk music. The music ranges from lyrical, melancholy songs to boisterous dance tunes that include waltzes, horas and Bulgars. For many years Gefilte Trout has performed at weddings, parties, cafes and many community gatherings and events. The group has repeatedly been featured at the Spokane Folk festival. Members of Gefilte Trout include Elena Panchenko (vocals), Bill Voxman (clarinet) Bill Thompson (guitar), and Bob Garcia (bass). Elena, of Ukrainian descent, sings in Yiddish, Roma, Ladino, and Hebrew.
