Lewiston's Hot August Nights is looking for volunteers and nonprofit groups to help make this year's event a success Aug. 20-22.

Volunteer opportunities include rolling and organizing T-shirts, stuffing goody bags, hanging "No Parking" signs, distributing People's Choice ballots, and assisting with garbage collection during the event. Volunteer needs vary by assignment and may take place Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

Nonprofit groups are especially encouraged to inquire about the garbage crew opportunity, which includes a donation.

Individuals, families, service organizations, and community groups are welcome to participate.
