With AI technology becoming more advanced in music, I’ve been thinking about adding a new optional service for weddings. The idea would be to work directly with the bride and groom — learn their story, get to know their personalities, and understand their favorite style of music (whether that’s country, rock, pop, or a heartfelt ballad) — and then create a custom song made just for them.
This could be something special for their first dance, the father and daughter dance, or even the groom and mother dance — a song that’s completely unique to their story.
I’m still working out the details of how I’d make this happen, but before moving forward, I wanted to see what people think of the idea. I know not everyone is a fan of AI, but if it could be used to collaborate with a couple and craft something deeply personal — lyrics and melody inspired by their story — would that be something couples would be interested in?
For those who follow my Borrowed Breath project, you’ve already seen how I write my own lyrics and melodies, then use AI tools to help bring those songs to life. This idea would be an extension of that — using creativity and technology together to tell someone else’s story through music.
