“The Giver, Not Just the Gift” We often chase the blessing and forget the One who blesses.Don’t just seek His hand. Seek His face. (Ps. 27:8)

Peacemakers, Not Troublemakers. In the house of God, we are called to embody shalom — peace, wholeness, and completeness.
Let our words heal, our actions unite, and our hearts reflect Christ’s peace. A true servant builds harmony; a troublemaker divides. Choose peace.

A Faithful Farewell
We grieve with hope, honoring a beloved church family member who is now with the Lord. “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

Ephesians 5:11 “Don’t just point out the darkness—shine so brightly that others begin to see it for themselves.” Your goodness may be the light that leads someone to repentance.

Delayed obedience beats no obedience — the theology here roots in the Parable of the Two Sons (Matt 21:28-32), where the son who said “no” but later went outperforms the one who said “yes” but never moved. Say no. Feel convicted. Go anyway. That’s not failure — that’s repentance in motion. The son who changed his mind is the one Jesus commends.

“Appointed to Die, Appointed to Decide”

Hebrews 9:27 (ESV): “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” Death is appointed — fixed, certain, unrepeatable. And after it, judgment. No second run. No renegotiation. The decision you keep postponing has a deadline you don’t control.

Don’t Suffer Alone

Hebrews 10:25 (ESV): “Not neglecting to meet together… but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:25 wasn’t written for comfortable seasons — it was written for the weary ones.
When life hurts, don’t withdraw. Show up. Someone needs your presence, and you need theirs.

“You’ve Got the Rule Backwards” Don’t just avoid hurting people. Start looking for ways to help them.

“Whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them.” — Matthew 7:12 (ESV)

That’s the difference between good manners and love.

Which one defines you?

“Build for Your Neighbor, Not Over Them” 📖 Deuteronomy 22:8 (ESV) — “When building a new house, make a parapet for your roof to prevent blood from falling on your house.”

The parapet wasn’t building code; it was neighbor-love in architecture, requiring safety for others as a cost of construction.

Today, we often prioritize our gain over our neighbors’ safety.

God’s design was never about building up at the expense of others. It was about building so the next person is safer, not smaller.

Application: Ask yourself, does this guard my neighbor, or does it quietly take from him?
