“Who the Son sets free is free indeed” Freedom rang loudly today at our Harnessing HOPE Fellowship event hosted by Jerusalem Baptist Church in Salisbury, North Carolina. This church understood the assignment and our community is blessed to have them as partners in the ministry to the incarcerated church! ⛪️ ⛓️‍💥 🌱
The HHF takes place every other month and is hosted at various churches located within 50 miles of Davidson Correctional Center. If your church would like to participate, please reach out to me.

🎄 Christmas in July: Share Hope with Us! 🎄

This summer, we’re launching Christmas in July, a heartfelt campaign to collect toiletry items that will be gifted to incarcerated men at Christmas time.

Why start now? Because small acts of kindness take time to gather — and they make a BIG difference. For many of these men and women, a simple hygiene kit is more than soap or shampoo; it’s a reminder that someone cares, that hope is alive, and that redemption is possible.

Here’s how you can help:

This new class series is scheduled on Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. July 30 through October 29 at the Davidson County Senior Center in Thomasville (211 W. Colonial Dr.). This 14-week series will be provided free of charge to county residents age 55 and older.

Operation July 4th Melon Drop was a tremendous success! Thank you to all the post-release men, families, and friends of our currently incarcerated brothers who contributed to this year's project. Due to the abundant support, we were able to give every man at Davidson and each of the ladies at the CRV facility one-half of a melon.

Friday evening, June 13th, DPM hosted a Father's Day Tea for the men at Davidson Correctional Center. We gathered not just to sip tea and share a meal, but to celebrate the strength, wisdom, and legacy of godly men.
This event was tremendously impactful! It was a moment to pause from the rush of life, enjoy fellowship, and reflect on the quiet power of humility, respect, and honor—qualities that show up not only in big decisions, but also at the table. Just as tea is steeped slowly for richness, so is character formed through everyday choices. The lessons in table manners aren’t about formality—they’re about intentional living. They remind us that how we treat others in small settings often reveals the depth of our faith. This time together is an opportunity to grow in grace, in brotherhood, and in Christ.
