Lexington has seen a deadly shooting every weekend for the last three weeks.

Today, I got to speak with ONE Lexington Director Devine Carama more about this and what the organization is doing to help the communities directly impacted.

I'll have a link to my full story in the comments.

It was an honor to get to highlight some of our local folks who loved Dolly Parton — some of which even got to sing alongside her! 🦋🩷

I’ll have my full story on how people are remembering the country music legend in the comments!

My heart hurts. 🩷The world truly lost an icon today. Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋💐

It’s not everyday you see a BEAR in your backyard! 🐻

Well it was an exciting morning for Janel DeBoer because she did.

She says she’s lived in her Lexington home for 22 years and this is the first time she’s ever spotted a bear there.

You can read more on my conversation with her in the comments!

The first time I went to Epping's on Eastside in Lexington was a few years ago for a Valentine's Day date.

It was beautiful in there, but when I went inside the restaurant for the second time today, things looked a little different.

As you can see in this photo, Monday's flood water was rushing through the Warehouse Block area and found its way into Epping's.

Today I got to talk with one of the restaurant's owners about the aftermath of that flood, what cleanup has been like, and how they're hoping to open their doors again real soon.

The link to my story is in the comments!

Take a listen to this preview of a heartwarming Father’s Day story I got to work on today.

I’ve posted a link to my article in the comments, but you can also tune in to WKYT on the CW Lexington at 6:00 PM to hear more! 💙
