I got the opportunity to attend Governor Beshear’s press conference in Pike County and check in with some business owners impacted by devastating flooding. Beshear says Pike County was one of the hardest hit counties across the Commonwealth when it comes to flooding this time around.

Friday I got to hang out with some Bath County Middle School students for Ms. Gilbert’s career exploration club! We got to talk about what led me to broadcast journalism, what my day-to-day looks like, and they even got to act out a breaking news live shot! 🎥🎤

It was pretty cool to revisit my former school where my 8th grade English teacher told me, “I could see you being a journalist one day.” ❤️

Be on the lookout - some of these kiddos could be my coworkers in the future! 🤩
