Of the three colder Christmases during this stretch, two included measurable snow, showing that when we do trend cold, snow is more likely to be part of the picture.

Bottom line: warmer-than-normal temperatures and a lack of snowfall have been the dominant Christmas Day trend for central KY over the past decade.
