Excursions for the historic 611 steam engine begin this Friday but visitors can visit the train right now at Victoria Station in Goshen! Thank you Goshen Volunteer Fire Department for this PSA about visiting Victoria Station:
‼️ Attention 611 Friends ‼️
Starting tomorrow, 9/22 through the rest of the excursion period, Victoria Station will be open for spectators to see/photograph the 611 from 9:00 - 4:00. A couple things-
1. Please park in the parking lot and WALK to the train. Do not pass the cones or drive alongside the tracks. You will drive straight in, do NOT take the first right.
2. Watch for workers driving and do not climb on the rail cars or the 611. Please understand they have work to do prior to the excursions starting Friday morning, do not cause interruptions.
3. They are still working on putting things together for this great event, please be respectful and ENJOY her beauty!
(There are photos about where to park in the original post at the Goshen Volunteer Fire Department page)
