Many of you may have noticed issues with some of your favorite websites and certain social media platforms, this morning. There is currently a widespread outage originating from Cloudflare - which is a company that helps deliver and protect around 20% of all web traffic.

The outage hit at around 6:40 ET this morning and is still ongoing. Some sites have managed to return to service, while others are still down due to the outage.

Cloudflare is working on the issue and hopes to have it resolved very soon.

Our own Rooster website was down a bit earlier today but is now back online, at least for now.

Hang in there folks...it should be resolved soon!

Hey gang! There's gonna be a show up in the sky tonight!

The Sky Is Putting on a Show Tonight! 🌠 🌌

We’re right in the middle of the Northern Taurid meteor shower, as Earth passes through the trail left behind by Comet Encke. These meteors are known for their bright, slow-moving fireballs the kind that light up the entire sky and leave you in awe. Even with the glow of the Moon, a few will still steal the spotlight tonight.

Meanwhile, the Sun has been on fire — literally. The massive X5.1-class solar flare that erupted from sunspot AR4274 on November 11 has sent a wave of charged energy toward Earth.

So if the skies are clear where you are, step outside, look up, and let nature remind you how alive our universe really is.

EDIT: New information about the cause of death has been released:

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers attempted to stop a vehicle Wednesday night at around 10:30 p.m. for a traffic violation on the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Keller Springs Blvd.

TPS said the driver refused to stop, resulting in a chase with law enforcement. However, troopers lost sight of the vehicle and ended the pursuit.

The vehicle was later found abandoned and had been involved in a crash on the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway.

Later, the driver, identified as Kneeland, was found in the area, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to TPS.

Breaking: Dallas Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland has died at the age of 24.

EDIT: This report has been further updated to 9 people dead with at least 11 injured. The numbers are expected to climb as the investigation continues.

A UPS MD-11 has crashed near the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.

“UPS Flight 2976 crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 4, after departing from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was headed to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation and will provide all updates. This information is preliminary and subject to change.
