Working with the team at Destination Mansfield - Richland County has been a gift in so many ways.

I saw your morning sun this morning peeking through the blinds,

and instead of taking time to enjoy it -
I got distracted with what was mine,

and as I realized the sun had already faded away - I took a moment to pray,

and apologized for missing it - saying I’d have to see it another day.

Then over my shoulder, your sunlight appeared to remind me he heard me pray,

and for just a few moments your sun came back out to shine for just a few more moments today.

Have you noticed an uptick in spammy content and comments on Facebook? 🥫 (A lot of it is AI-generated slop, right?) 🧠❌

Well, Facebook says, "We’ve heard you. Facebook Feed doesn’t always serve up fresh, engaging posts that you consistently enjoy." [Uh, yeah!!! 🤪]

Facebook confirms, "We’re working on it. We’re making a number of changes this year to improve Feed, help creators break through and give people more control over how content is personalized to them." Rejoice! 🥳 😆

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT from Facebook's PR agency - passing along for y'all:

"Too much spammy content is crowding out authentic creators and hurting the Facebook experience, so today Facebook announced a crackdown. This is part of a bigger focus this year to improve Feed, help authentic creators break through and give people more control over how content is personalized to them. This announcement also comes on the heels of the recently introduced Friends Tab, which is a step toward bringing back the 'OG Facebook experience.'

How Facebook is combating spammy content:

❌ Lowering the Reach of Spammy Accounts. We're taking steps to reduce the reach and monetization of accounts sharing spammy content and long, unrelated captions with lots of hashtags.

❌ Removing Fake Engagement and Impersonation. We're increasing efforts to remove accounts that coordinate fake engagement and impersonate others. This includes removing fake pages that exist to inflate reach, testing a downvote feature for comments, and adding features to Moderation Assist to detect and auto-hide comments from people using fake identities.

✅ Protecting Original Creators. We continue to protect and elevate creators sharing original content by enhancing Rights Manager and providing guidance on creating engaging content."

UPDATE:

I was contacted by Canva by email. The only solution Canvas to delete the app and reload the app if you are experiencing the same issue.

Canva is experiencing issues right now with the IPhone App. This is the error and then the app will freeze up. Reopening the app does not clear or resolve the issue and your app is stuck on the error message.

Desktop seems to be working but definitely a more lengthy creation process if all your content is on your phone 👍

Trusting they will get it fixed asap. It has been reported via the website and their Social Pages.

My mother truly is the best of us ❤️. And she deserves to know it.

When I try and figure out what it is that radiates from her - it is her consistent unwavering love. I don’t have a memory without a thought of her attached. I was able to do so many things because she believed I could. And her belief fueled mine, until I could believe myself.

Mom is definitely my blessing, our blessing.

I challenged my family this week to think about their relationship with Mom and what made it special.

For me: My mother is that single thread that holds our world together. If that thread was removed, the whole fabric would begin to unravel. She has been stretched thin. And I am sure she has felt frayed (she has had to put up with me after all) but she is always there. Quietly holding us together, on the days we realize it and the days we don’t.

So as I wish my mother Happy Birthday, I am praying for her and each one of you that fill your days with loving, serving and blessing others. To all the other single threads that are holding the worlds together, you truly help us create the fabric of our lives. Thank you.
