JRA and Brown + Kubican are proud to team up with KBC Bloodmobile for our annual blood drive. This is a great opportunity to make a tangible difference in our community, as each donation can help save up to three lives

Just a reminder: this Event is for residents, not businesses.

There's a free paper shred event for Lexington residents this Saturday, October 25 from 9am to 2pm at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike. Fayette County residents may bring up to five boxes or bags of junk mail, documents, and other papers to be shredded.

Before you come to the event, load acceptable materials into your vehicle’s trunk in boxes or paper bags that you do not need back. You will be asked to pop the trunk so those staffing the event can unload for you. Please remain in your vehicle at all times.
Please note:
• Wet papers will not be accepted.
• No plastic or metal binders or binder clips.
• Staples, paper envelopes and paper clips are fine.
• Enter the event via Jimmie Campbell Drive.
• Do not arrive before 9 a.m. Event organizers will be unable to accommodate anyone early.
• Bring papers in containers that you do not need back. Cardboard boxes will be collected at the event and recycled.
• Residents only; no businesses.

This is a casual "drop-in" event to connect, share stories, bid farewell, and give thanks to this resilient Leader who has proudly represented and advocated fiercely for her District - especially our Youth. She has led the way every single day toward a better community for all future generations and for all residents of the 6th.

It’s Happening in Hamburg!

When Hamburg Journal was founded back in 2003 (more than 15 years ago!), our very first office was just off Richmond Road. The Hamburg corridor soon grew even bigger than we ever imagined — with our wedge of Lexington’s geographic pie extending to cover all of southeast Lexington from Richmond Road all the way over to Wi******er Road and beyond. It’s an honor and a privilege to meet you — our neighbors — and to share your stories. Cheers to the next 16 years!
