Any Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Showcase on Thursday, November 20, 2025, should see Mrs. Bates in the CCC or Dr. Snodgrass in room 609 for a permission slip. The last day to sign up is Thursday, October 30. Eligibility requirements apply, and attendance is first come, first served based on approval.

Dunbar’s Youth in Government Club will host a canned food drive with God’s Pantry from Nov. 3-7. Cardboard boxes will be set up around the school to accept canned goods and non-perishables. STLP is sponsoring a Toy Drive for the UK Children’s Hospital! On December 3rd, we’ll continue a 20-year Dunbar tradition by stuffing an ambulance with toys. Help us spread cheer this December by donating new toys for patients ranging from infants to 18 years old.
