WLUR 91.5 FM Lexington is a non-commercial educational radio station owned by Washington and Lee and directed by the university's Office of Communications and Public Affairs. Undergraduate and law students, faculty and staff, and members of the Lexington and Rockbridge community generate most of WLUR's diverse programming, which covers a wide range of musical genres, public affairs, news, and comm

entary for W&L athletic events. A full-time general manager supervises the day-to-day operations of the station, while students occupy various management positions. Elrod Commons on the campus of Washington and Lee. WLUR transmits at 91.5 MHz (megahertz) on the FM radio frequency band with an Effective Radiated Power of 175 watts. WLUR's programming is also streamed live over the internet.

Junior Mary Schleusner has been named the first ODAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week this season after big performances last week! She helped No. 7/8 to a 3-0 start by averaging 27.0 points, 14.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game, including a 32-point, 21-rebound effort against Emory!

Washington and Lee University is proud to announce the implementation of a need-blind admissions policy! We will no longer consider students’ or families’ ability to pay when evaluating applications for undergraduate admission thanks to a $132 million gift from investor, philanthropist, and W&L alumnus William H. “Bill” Miller III.

Miller’s extraordinary gift is the single largest in the university’s history and one of the largest dedicated to financial aid at any private liberal arts college. It allows W&L to implement a need-blind admissions policy for all undergraduate students while maintaining our existing commitments to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need and to do so with aid packages that do not include loans. W&L becomes one of a small number of highly selective colleges and universities able to do all three.
