Pet of the Week: Clove!
15 weeks old, neutered male, gray tabby and white markings, short hair

Can you even believe how cute this little guy is?! And he's definitely little - Clove's siblings have all outgrown him, so this fella may end up on the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee when he's all grown up...only time will tell! Clove is a super sweet, outgoing kitten who loves to check out a new visitor and make a new friend. He's as playful as they come, and willing to improvise; a lone kibble that rolls around in his food bowl is a toy, so are your shoelaces, so is a little bit of light coming through the window and moving on the wall, you get the picture. Clove has grown up surrounded by lots of kittens, and he would do great in a multi-cat home...especially if the other cats want to play with him as much as he wants to play with them!

Pet of the Week: Zoe!
5 years old, spayed female, German shepherd/heeler mix, weighs 80 lbs

This big sweet baby is out to steal your heart! If you're looking for a dog with a great combination of adventure buddy and snuggle buddy, you gotta meet Zoe. She's an active gal who loves to run and play (her heeler side is obsessed with cattle...you got any cattle?!), and would be delighted to explore with you on walkies and hikes. She's lived with kids before and loves them, although she may try and herd them from time to time. Zoe is house trained and knows some commands; she's accustomed to living with small dogs, but her play style can be a little rowdy, so a meet-and-greet with your resident dog of any size is recommended before taking her home. Gotta make sure they mesh!

Zoe is really missing the stability and company of her previous home, and what she would love most of all is to get out of here and start bonding with her forever family. If you think that could be you, call (859) 873-5491 and make an appointment to meet her!

Pet of the Week: Myah!
4 1/2 years old, spayed female, heeler/terrier mix, weighs about 55 lbs

This smiley girl is ready to get up outta here and start living her best life! Myah lost her home when her family got priced out of their rent and had to downsize to a trailer. In her previous life, she learned lots of commands, played at the dog park, and helped welcome foster kids as young as 4 to the family.

Life has changed a lot for Myah, and she finds the kennel pretty stressful. She hasn't really wanted the company of other dogs during her stay, so she may be one that prefers to be the only dog and maybe have play dates from time to time with some Myah-approved friends. She has been a bit wary of strangers, but super sweet with the folks she knows and loves. She has a nice medium energy level; she's excited to get outside for a walk or some yard time, but she settles into a pretty casual pace. She mostly does well with house training, and getting back on a normal home schedule would likely take her right back to the "no accidents" status her family reported.

More than anything, Myah just wants to find her normal again...and that may require a little patience from a loving family as she readjusts. So if you've got a little patience and a lot of love to share with this sweet girl, give us a call at (859) 873-5491 for an appointment to meet her.
