Somehow, our 3rd business anniversary completely snuck up on me. 🥹🤍
Today marks THREE whole years of The Social Edit!!! I’m feeling especially grateful for how much this business has grown, but even more so for how much it has shaped me along the way.
I started this business at 22 with four social media management clients and absolutely no idea what it would look like three years later. I’ve learned how to be a business owner, a boss, a leader, a marketer, a wedding planner, a problem solver, and about 100 other things I definitely did not learn in college. 😂
There have been seasons of saying yes to everything, learning what to say no to, making great decisions, making some not-so-great ones, investing thousands back into the business, building a team, rebuilding systems, finding our niche, and figuring out what I actually wanted The Social Edit to become.
Today, at 25, I get to look around at a business that provides social media management, audits + strategy, coaching + consulting, memberships + templates, wedding planning + coordination, wedding content creation, event coverage, and so much more to some truly incredible clients.
Still kind of crazy when I type all of that out. 😂
The numbers and growth are exciting, but when I think about the last three years, I keep coming back to the people.
The clients who trusted me when this business was brand new. The ones who referred their friends. The business owners who welcomed me into their circles. The vendors who became friends. The people who have tagged our name in a Facebook group, shared one of our posts, introduced me to someone, or talked about The Social Edit in a room I wasn’t in. The team members who have stepped into this business and cared about our clients right alongside me.
You have all had a hand in making The Social Edit what it is today.
Three years later, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, incredibly grateful for the people who helped build it, and probably more ambitious about where we’re going than ever. 🤍
Happy 3rd birthday, The Social Edit. 🥂
I can’t wait for all that’s to come.
