I’m taking a second to stand in the sunshine today because the last few months have been a heavy, unexpected road ☀️
Behind the scenes, my body went through an emergency crisis that completely threw me off. I didn't feel like myself, I was struggling, and it hit me just how much I had taken my health and energy for granted.
When you're homeschooling six kids, you don't have time to run on empty—but getting back to "me" has been a slow, grace-filled climb.
It reminded me why I started building Rebellious Motherhood in the first place. God didn't create us to drag our bodies through survival mode; He created us to steward them well so we can enjoy the calling in front of us.
If you're feeling off or exhausted in your own journey today, take this as your sign to pause.

Comment: pause and I'll share with you what is helping me find my way back.

"If you went back and fixed all the mistakes you’ve ever made, you would erase your testimony." 🤍
Stop beating yourself up over the seasons where you felt like you were just trying to survive. God was working in those moments, too.

You are raising the future—forts, blanket piles, messy rooms, and all. Taking a breath, receiving grace, and stepping into peace isn't selfish; it's how we stay equipped for the mission.

I thought the hard part was saying yes when God asked for a major shift in my life.

Turns out, the harder part is the ordinary Thursday where I catch myself trying to control every detail of our homeschool day, our routine, and my children's reactions.

God doesn't just want our big "yes"—He wants our daily trust right in the middle of everyday motherhood. Taking care of your heart and stepping away from the daily hustle isn't selfish; it’s stewardship.

✨ Take 5 minutes for yourself today. Comment: minute and I'll send you my mama reset

If you went back and fixed all the mistakes you’ve ever made, you would erase your testimony." 🤍
Man, I needed that reminder today.
In the middle of the messes, the missed moments, the hard days, and the times we feel like we’re falling short as moms, it’s so easy to wish we could rewrite the script. But God doesn't waste a single chapter.
Your past mistakes, your hard seasons, and the moments you had to rely fully on His grace? That’s not a failure—that’s your testimony. That’s how He built the woman and the mother standing in your living room today.

You don't have to be a perfect mom to be the exact mom God chose for your kids.

If you need 5 simple minutes to pause, drop the weight of perfectionism, and look at your heart today, take our free Rebel Mama Check-In.

He is super proud of his accomplishment! Now on to 1st grade.

This was the first time that I have used Generations for Kindergarten math and I feel it was a success.

My younger 2 use Generations while my older 3 used mostly Masterbooks.

Interesting to see how different learning styles fit with different curriculums. So glad we have the opportunity to use what works best for each of them💕

Faith doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine. It means knowing who is holding you when it’s not. 🕊️
You don’t have to fake perfection to be a good mom or a faithful daughter of God.
It is completely okay to say, “Lord, today is heavy,” while simultaneously standing on the promise that He will never leave your side. Rebellious motherhood isn't about doing it all—it's about releasing the pressure to perform and choosing His grace over cultural hustle.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” — John 16:33 (CSB)

Take a deep breath, mama. You are seen, you are loved, and you don't have to carry this alone.

Where in your life do you need to give yourself permission to release perfectionism today?

Ready to slow down and reconnect with God in the middle of the mess?

I don't share a lot about the business side of my life these days.

Not because I don't love it.

I do. ❤️

But because I've learned that not everything I'm building needs to be shouted from the rooftops all the time.

Sometimes it's quietly growing in the background while I'm homeschooling, raising babies, loving my husband, serving my family, and simply living the life God has given me.

And that's exactly why these two pictures mean so much to me.

One is a package that showed up at my door.

The other is a picture with the woman who sent it.

And both remind me of something I've been learning over and over again:

We were never meant to do this alone.

Not motherhood.
Not business.
Not following God's calling.
Not life.

There have been people who have encouraged me when I was unsure.

People who have celebrated things I almost overlooked.

People who have reminded me that I can be BOTH a mama deeply invested in her family AND a woman who is still growing, creating, dreaming, and answering God's call on her life.

That's the heart of what Rebellious Motherhood means to me.

Not doing more just to prove something.

Not chasing someone else's definition of success.

But having the courage to ask:

"God, what are YOU calling me to in this season?"

And then being willing to follow Him—even when it doesn't look like everyone else's path.

Sometimes rebellion looks like building something.

Sometimes it looks like staying home.

Sometimes it looks like saying no.

Sometimes it looks like saying yes.

And sometimes it simply looks like letting people love you, support you, and walk alongside you.

I'm incredibly grateful for the women God has placed in my life.

Because behind every woman who looks like she's doing something brave...

there is usually a whole lot of support you don't see. ❤️

Mama, don't underestimate the power of having the right people in your corner.

Who is one person who has supported you in this season of your life? Tag her and let her know. ❤️
