Wolfe county schools are on session tomorrow 2/4/14
And many many parents are very mad and upset that the Wolfe county board of education decided to make students walk out to the end of there holler many country roads are still covered in the white stuff and snow . Here what a parent has to say about this call " I don't think Children should walk to the end of the holler some hollers are over 20 minutes long . And I and some other parents have to leave for work about 5 and can't take the children to school and can't drop of at the holler . Covering mobile news room back too you ... Chris Bailey says if you miss class tomorrow due to plan B it WILL be an excused absents .

Rain showers should be wrapping up here soon and snow moves in with us tonight and tomorrow . Eastern ky should accumulate up to 4-7 inches and isolated 3"
Bluegrass should accumulate up to 2-5 inches and isolated 2"

Wolfe county superintendent Ernie Whisman Says Wolfe county schools are Closed again 1/30/14 due to weather Whisman says Wolfe county schools will operate on a normal schedule 1/31/14
Whisman says students haven't been to school but 3 days all January . Here's what he has to say " it really ain't the children's fault we have snow days like this it isn't nothing new he said last winter we only went 8 days of the month Dec & Jan . Wolfe county students will NOT get spring break this year . Last day for students for Wolfe county is June 3rd 2014
